We had a great meal here at the Florenceville Inn -celebrating a birthday - fish & chips, just the right amount of batter, butter chicken (lots of chicken in it) & exceptional sea food chowder, lots of fish in it. Service was good & quick & our server was great.

We booked this months in advance as we planned a trip from Ontario to PEI. Arrived at 10pm. Upon entering the room, the furnace was blasting (on a 28C day and I asked someone to come help us as I knew staff was in the hallway. He was friendly but couldn’t turn the heat off. We were amused by his swearing in disbelief ‘holy s#%+’ and ‘What the f&&&’ as he tried to fix it but it wasn’t very professional. I asked if we could just have a different room as we had been driving for 16 hours and they obliged. Shown to a room in the basement where it was smellier than the rest of the inn. It was clean but carpet stained. The bathroom fan which would go on when the light was on was EXTREMELY noisy but we were tired and it was getting late so we didn’t ask to change again. Beds were comfortable and clean. Upon waking up the four of us all wanted a shower but there were only three towels and not much shampoo/conditioner so I went down to ask for these. The young lady seemed confused by my request even as I had said we had four of us and only had three towels. ‘The room has three towels’ she said and I said yes but there are four of us. ‘You want it right now??’ In a manner that seemed like I was putting her out. Yes please now. She got the items for me. Breakfast was minimal but what there was was fine. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, cereal, pancakes and toast. It would’ve been nice if there was bacon or sausage. All in all, we were able to have a comfortable sleep but we would not recommend to others and would not return in future. The place needs a deep clean throughout not just the rooms. More professionalism and friendliness of staff through training would be welcome.

Room had a bad smell either from the ac unit or some weird cleaning solution. Hallway was under renovation, bathroom was filthy (black dirty grout, tub faucet hanging out of the wall not secured, duct taped light fixtures). Tv only had one channel that worked, wifi had no signal/was slow. Floors were very sticky, we had to wear footwear the whole time. Beds were clean and comfortable however. Desk and chair were extremely dated and looked like they were taken out of an 80’s office building. This stay felt like we were put into a room that was not yet completed renovations, however it was clearly set up for guests. Definitely a waste of money staying here. I don’t know about the other areas of the motel but if you are assigned room 104, run.

Sticky carpet, disgusting towels and scary bathroom. No pool since one year. A lot of dust. We were afraid of walking barefoot on the carpet. It was like a set for a horror movie. The odor was un mix of cheap soap and old mold. Please, just don’t go there.

The room we were rented, via ******* for an incredible 198.99 was a complete mess. There is grade level access that's been nailed shut, the building entrance had ratty falling apart rattan chair with staves sticking out of it. The hall carpeting was muddy. The pool was a broken disaster, the lower level restroom were closed. None of that would have mattered but the room it self was dirty, and falling apart. That grade level entrance, had a towel for a curtain, that was help up with crews into the door. The bathroom was filthy, as noted in the photos. The sheets were clean, and the AC worked (despite it being filthy). The bathroom towels were grey, no one in our party would shower there (3 adults) I raised all of these issues to the front desk in the morning, the response was "we could have moved you", however as i was checking in the front desk was telling people calling they were sold out. Hopefully this review leads to a change in operations, and helps someone avoid a poor experience.

I must say the overwhelming kindness and hospitality from Abdul and staff was so greatly appreciated during our stay as we were moving to the province. The rooms and inn were clean, and the breakfast good. Looking forward to the restaurant and bar area being opened, as Abdul has a lot great future plans for the inn. Wishing you great success!

I stayed here an extended amount of time and I have to say it was a great experience. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by friendly staff and feel right at home. The pool and restaurant are a huge bonus. The location is very close to shopping amenities and down town florenceville.
