This is our second stay at this hotel. According to our idea when we came, we thought of coming to this hotel for vacation twice a year. The children like the beach in front very much, but this stay was quite unsatisfactory. The cleaning of the room needs to be called, and it is not cleaned for less than three days. Even if it is cleaned, it is extremely sloppy. The sheets are not changed, the floor is not swept clean, and only some consumables are replenished, which is considered cleaning! We stayed for 7 days, but when we checked out, because we checked out at 11:30, the front desk Jane (Asian face) asked us to pay 50 Australian dollars on the grounds that we checked out half an hour late. We told her that we have stayed in many Meriton hotels in Australia, and we have never been charged for checking out before 12 o'clock. She said with a stern face that it was them, and our hotel was not allowed. We said that we checked in your hotel last year, and we didn't charge it when we checked out. Moreover, I have stayed here for so many days. She said very arrogantly that others helped you to waive it, and I can't waive it! I also come to Australia for business and tourism frequently. I have never seen such a blunt solution and I can't accept it. I like Australia very much, and I also liked this hotel, but I despise this kind of service attitude, especially towards Chinese people (I saw that she was very kind to white people). The hotel needs to improve this kind of hygiene and service.

The hotel service is very poor. When checking in, they were very impatient and indifferent. They answered me with one sentence throughout the whole process: If you have any comments, I will report to my superiors. The room is very dirty, and the smell of chemicals is extremely pungent as soon as you enter. The hotel room is extremely old, the carpet is very dirty and uneven, and it is easy to trip. The towels are yellow and have obvious blood stains on them. There are cockroaches in the room. There was no Wi-Fi in the hotel on the day of check-in, because the room is on a high floor and there is no mobile phone signal. Thank you to Ctrip customer service for patiently helping me communicate with the hotel. Later, the hotel asked me to go to the front desk to inform me of the check-out policy. After I went downstairs, the front desk said: I told Ctrip that I want to talk to you in person. I said: I am here, are you going to talk about check-out? He replied: I just want to talk to you in person, and now I have said it. But I did not agree that Ctrip can check you out. Although the hotel finally agreed to check out, more than three hours have passed. The check-in experience is more subjective, but this hotel charges according to the five-star standard, but the facilities and services are completely below the five-star standard. The service and facilities are similar to those of a three-star motel. Although the location is close to the Story Bridge, this hotel is not by the river. There are many hotels around the river with better locations and guaranteed river views. The room prices are not higher than this room rate. Strongly not recommended! Suspected of advertising fraud against consumers!
