Finally, after my talk at the front desk last night, I got a room with a balcony today. Actually, several rooms share a balcony, but I finally got rid of the sealed double-glazed ** yesterday, which is rare. Some rooms on the balcony have no smoking signs, while others don’t. I don’t know what they think. The toilet is the first time I have seen it in Fu Village. I used it in Kyoto, but it doesn’t spray water and is useless. The manager came to see it and changed the battery, but it didn’t work. He could only say that someone would come to fix it tomorrow, but no one came when I checked out. The manager is still very dedicated. He sat on the toilet and tried again and again. I really worry about his suit. I personally tested that the balcony door cannot be opened from the outside after it is closed. Remember to bring your mobile phone when the wind is strong on the balcony, otherwise the whole balcony will be a stage for performing and calling for help.

It was a very nice relaxing stay, the included breakfast we paid for was great a good variety to choose from, location is good as it is opposite the gardens and good for early morning walks before breakfast, loved how the hotel kept some of it's yesteryear charm in the foyer and restaurant...made you think what it was like back in it's heyday, definitely coming back again

It was right across the Botanical Gardens and the location was good, but the facilities were outdated, so it was the first place I stayed on a family trip to Australia and it was disappointing. Green (muddy) water came out of the sink faucet, so I ended up changing rooms, but the degree of muddy water was the same. I think it was because the water pipes were outdated. I didn't want to ruin my enjoyable trip, so I just passed, but I couldn't help but think that there was a reason it was cheap. The cleaning condition and such were not bad.

I am very satisfied with this stay. The hotel is in the city center, opposite the Botanical Garden (there is a market on weekends). You can walk to various attractions. The room is clean and hygienic, and the curtains are not light-transmitting, which I am very satisfied with. The layout of the hotel is also very elegant, which is the retro style I like.
The most worth mentioning is the hotel service. I checked in alone with 2 suitcases. The waiter helped me take it off the Uber and enthusiastically took it to my room. It was really considerate.

It was a really nice hotel!
Having a bathtub is nice for Japanese people.
I had a lot of things to do so I wanted to leave my luggage for two days, but they were happy to accommodate me and I'm very grateful.
The price wasn't too expensive, so I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Excellent location right opposite botanical gardens and a short walk from many if the hotspots. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner (hair in shower), and service at front desk could have been friendlier. Gym is quite small, with more than 3-4 people in there you’d struggle.
