What a lovely hotel. The decor is beautiful throughout. Much attention to the small details that makes so much difference to your stay. Fabulous cocktails. Lovely food. Amazingly comfortable bed. Great service from all the staff. Will definitely be returning.

We regularly stay at the sister hotel in Margate which is divine. I had high expectations for the Brighton branch. I was very disappointed. Rooms are tiny, beds are at best a large double. When we raised this I was told previous customers had said the same so they’d measured it. If people are complaining change if! Female manager (?) incredible ride and dismissive. While place feels cheaply done and rushed. I won’t be back.

Excellent hotel. We have stayed around the corner in Artists Residence before and this k picked the spots off that and may other similar hotels. It is what Hotel du Vin used to be but better. Our room on the first floor overlooked the sea and the old pier. It was so well designed- amazing bedside lights, classy furniture, amazing bed throws well from a store you would never have guessed they were from (begins with D). The staff were all friendly and charming. Eat dinner in the Pearly Cow as well as breakfast. Great meals. Booked via Mr & Mrs Smith and were proactively offered the free cocktail that comes with booking this way - both were delicious Could not fault

The place oozes charm at every turn - I love a well designed hotel and this one has it all in spades. The reception is inviting with enough art and pottery so you know you are far from a chain hotel. Luxury is the name of the game with extremely comfortable rooms - be it the bar, the lounge or the indoor courtyard. Bedrooms, whilst those at the back have somewhat disappointing views - best not look, are extremely comfortable, with possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in ! Great shower and luxurious toiletries, proper kettle and coffee with fresh milk and a pantry for a sugar rush complete the offering. The staff are extremely friendly but with a professional demeanour. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and it was perfection on both occasions.

We have stayed in numerous Brighton hotels over the years as our daughter lives there, so we were excited to try the new addition and we can say that it did not disappoint! The most beautifully designed hotel, stylish rooms and impeccable service. This made our Christmas stay in Brighton extra special. We love the thought that has gone in to the guest experience. From the informal and relaxed check in area with a warm welcome to the 24 hour pantry full of little treats to enjoy. Breakfast offers a vast range of choices and we tried something new each day, enjoyed in their stunning Pearly Cow Restaurant. We will be returning as this really is a special hotel and brings something new and different to Brighton.

We had a fantastic stay at no.124 celebrating my husband’s 30th birthday. The hotel itself is so well designed - gorgeous rooms as well has downstairs space. We enjoyed a glass of bubbles whilst playing chequers in the games area, relaxed during a couples massage, as well as dined in the fantastic Pearly Cow restaurant. The staff were all lovely and friendly, making sure we felt welcome during our stay. Final special mention to ‘The Pantry’ - filled with unlimited treats for guests to enjoy during their stay. I couldn’t speak higher of the wonderful experience we had and can’t wait to visit again soon!

Here for business. Great hotel, room beautifully done out, good toiletries, comfy bed and pillows, good lighting. Had dinner in Pearly Cow, the restaurant in hotel. Very good steak. Service throughout hotel very good and attentive. Price a bit high as business customer but not ridiculous for the difference between here and a corporate chain offer. Will definitely stay again.

A wonderful experience from start to finish! The hotel's location is perfect, the room was beautiful and the staff utterly charming -especially Diego! The attention to detail throughout the hotel is noteworthy. Unusual artwork, chocolates and tiny bottles of martini in the room saying "drink me", a vinyl recorder player and our favourite "The Pantry" - an old fashioned sweet shop that you can access 24 hours a day! The breakfast menu is stylish and eating it in The Pearly Cow was an experience in itself. A great way to end a very special overnight stay. I highly commend this hotel and all it has to offer. Very deserving of 5 stars.

We had initially considered staying at the Grand, but I decided it might feel a bit tired, so we opted for a newer boutique hotel instead—and we absolutely lucked out. The hotel had only been open for a week and turned out to be the perfect choice. It’s everything you’d want in a boutique hotel: cozy and inviting for winter, with a chic patio out front that would be amazing in the summer. Located right next to the Grand and Metropole, it’s on the seafront with stunning views from our room and just a quick dash across the road for a morning swim. It’s also conveniently close to the Lanes and everything else Brighton has to offer. The bar is a great spot to relax, the breakfast in the restaurant was top-notch, and there’s even a pantry near the rooms stocked with complimentary sweets and freshly baked brownies—a delightful touch. It’s the ideal spot for a weekend getaway, and Brighton’s vibrant personality and energy made it all the more enjoyable.
