The triple room we booked was a row of independent double-storey cabins, with the bathroom, kitchen and living room downstairs, and the bed and outdoor balcony upstairs. However, there were too many bugs in this room, including flies, cockroaches, ants, and spiders. The door of the cabin can only be opened and closed with a key. The breakfast is very monotonous, there are many flies, and the croissants taste okay. There was a girl at the front desk who was very nice. When we checked out today, she helped us contact the shuttle bus that would take us down the mountain. The other two are really not good and very impatient. When we came, we didn't know that there was a shuttle bus carrying several large boxes of luggage. We were so tired that we almost died when we went up the mountain. In fact, I really don’t recommend staying in this hotel, because I asked later that the shuttle bus has a time limit, from 8 am to 5 pm. Generally, it will take longer than the time it takes to come back from an outing. We stayed here for the past three days. We were exhausted climbing up and down the mountain every day, and the road was not easy to walk. When I checked out on the last day today, I finally enjoyed the drop-off service. The walking distance from the train station is not far, about 800 meters, but because the mountain road is not easy to walk on gravel roads, it takes 15 to 20 minutes. On the day we arrived, the price for lunch at the restaurant was quite expensive, a hamburger was 29 Swiss francs.

The room is located on the hillside of the town of Brienz. The environment is quiet and the scenery is pleasant. You can overlook the mountain and lake views of Brienz. However, the room does not have air conditioning. It is still stuffy with the door closed in the evening. The facilities are also relatively simple and old. There is often no one at the front desk… ! ! ! Special reminder: If you travel by public transportation, the hotel has a pick-up service to the station at the foot of the mountain. You can contact them in advance for a very convenient pick-up (about three minutes). If you carry a large suitcase uphill to the hotel by yourself, it will be very strenuous. We didn’t know about this service at first, and we almost died while carrying our luggage uphill...

Very good hotel, like it very much

I have always thought that hotels in Switzerland are very expensive, especially during the summer European travel season. This time I went to visit Interlaken and chose this hotel in the small town of Lake Brienz. Overall, it is still cost-effective. of. facility: On the mountain in the town of Brienz, there are complete facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, dry steam and sauna. The hotel has its own terrace restaurant with a very good view, but the Indian food is average. health: Maybe it's because of the good ecology. There are insects and moths in the cabin, but everything else is fine. environment: Very good. I booked a family loft this time. You can only see the mountain view on the back mountain side. If it is a standard room with a lake view, you should be able to see the lake view. Serve: There is a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off from the train station, which is very good. Otherwise, going up and down the mountain with luggage will definitely be a big problem. In the future, it can be used as a transit when going to Switzerland to visit Interlaken and Lucerne, if the price continues to remain advantageous.

Location wise an Astonishing view, feel like in heaven. A high level of hospitality. Friendly staff. Beutiful rooms and hot pot is cheery on the cake. Highly recommend for family and couples. All major attractions are near by this place. Recommended 100%

This hotel needs a serious upgrade. We stayed in the main house. Whenever guests and staff walked past my room the wood floor planks shook my bed. Bathroom smelled mouldy, shower only had a curtain around and only one small bottle of water for your whole stay. However, although breakfast was basic (excellent croissants!) food in general was good, and the service very friendly. Nice, high-up view over the lake. Will I stay here again? Probably not.

Brienz is a beautiful town and the hotel has a great view of the lake. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms had a swiss chalet feel to them. It is about a 10-15 mins walk to the shops/resturants/ train station which is fine on the way down but very steep when travelling up to the hotel. We were ok but this would be difficult for people with mobility issues.
