Rrose0931This is my favorite hotel in the United States, not one of them. The reason is simple, not because of how high-end and luxurious, but the room is clean and tidy, big enough, cost-effective, super convenient location, quiet, convenient parking, convenient travel.

GGuest UserCame in for town for an event at Winthrop Coliseum and was looking for a nice inexpensive place to stay. Clarion Point was very close to Winthrop. The owner and staff were very friendly during check in and check out. The hotel is clean and smelled good. Our room was spacious for relaxing, it was clean and modern. They do have a free breakfast but the only hot items were potatoes, biscuits, and sausage gravy with little sausage. You could make waffled and toast bread. Since we were on a keto diet the only thing we could eat was the boiled eggs. Which they would have had scrambled eggs and a meat choice. Not sure if they change up the hot items routinely or not. They did have fruit, yogurt and juice. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a clean, convenient and reasonable price place to stay.

GGuest UserThe rooms are well appointed but not exactly in stellar condition. For example, the bathroom door in my room was so severely warped that it wouldn't close and the toilet would take a few tries to flush completely. But the hard floors were nice and clean, the bed was reasonably comfortable (though the metal frame is loud), and the wifi was not too slow. For the price, it's worth it if you just need a place to lay your head. But if staying with multiple people in one room, it may not be so great.
