Staff are friendly and courteous.
The hot water in the hotel can be hotter.
Next to my room is the breakfast area, and in the morning I hear the sound of utensil use and the sink outside the public toilet.
The hairdryer needs to be borrowed at the front desk.
Breakfast 7-9 is served, fried eggs or scrambled eggs are made. Coffee is also given to you by the staff. There are self-service bread, fruit, tea.
Check out before 10. Staff gave me free luggage storage and I loved him.
There is a coffee shop next to the hotel."

"Excellent location in Ollanataytembo. About a 5 minute walk from the main plaza and 15 minutes from the train station. The route to the hotel is along a narrow, stone, bumpy path so taxis or colectivos will drop you at the main plaza and you will have to walk the rest of the way. Check in and out was straightforward and the hosts were lovely people. Breakfast was basic but the orange juice and fruit were fresh and tasty! Room itself was very warm with a veranda looking towards the mountains. Bed very comfortable with extra blankets. Bathroom was a bit small but the shower was good after a long day of hiking. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!"

Guest UserThe hotel is literally at the train station! Very convenient for taking train to Machu Picchu. However this is an eco lodge - 100 years old & it feels like that. There are no amenities to speak of, the onsite restaurant is very limited especially for vegetarian options.
The rooms are bare with floors & bed that creaks!! (Did I say it’s a century old?) The bathroom is very basic and more like a 2* hotel. Level of furnishings is again basic.
I paid $425 for 1 night & felt badly conned. Definitely not worth that amount.
Service- receptionist & all staff are very warm n friendly so that was really nice.
Cleanliness- very clean hotel.

Hotel in the central street of the town, very nice with good repair. Good hot water with excellent pressure. We had a room with river view.
The shortcomings are: during our stay there was repair, and noisy work was carried out from morning to evening, it was tiring and inappropriate. On the first day breakfast was announced from 8.00 to 9.00, which is quite strange for the hotel. We came to 8.00 because in 8.30 we had to leave, and we were told that hot breakfast would be ready only for 8.30. We couldn't wait, and we were given dry packs, which is of course nice, but quite strange. On the second day, breakfast was from 7.00 to 9.00, it was rich and delicious. It feels that the hotel itself is cool, but it has management problems.
