GGuest UserA classic old-school modern hotel with ryokan-type service. The room is huge and has excellent views of the river. On a good day, it should be possible to see Mount Fuji as well. There is also big onsen area with an outdoor bath area. Dinner is served on the ground floor restaurant and it was a delicious multicourse meal which includes really good wagyu steak with wasabi shoyuzuke. Dessert also includes the region's famed grapes. Breakfast was served buffet style with selection of Japanese and western items. I drove to the hotel with a rental car. It is not too far from a station on a local line but I recommend driving around to explore instead. The patrons to the hotel also seemed more local.

Accueil excellent malgré que nous ne parlions pas Japonais, parking, propreté, prix tout y est. Juste revoir les quelques défauts esthétiques de la chambre, rien de dérangeant. N'hésitez pas à choisir les love hôtels au Japon c'est toujours une super expérience.

GGuest UserIt is a traditional hot spring hotel. We stayed in the old wing this time. I heard that one side is newly renovated. The old wing really has its age and the rooms have a bit of a smell. In mid-February, we made a reservation for the family bath on the 5th floor, but the floor was damaged and had not been repaired. It was dangerous for children to pass by. The front desk had limited English and could not fully communicate. There are not many tourists, and overall I am very satisfied.
