"The hotel itself was really nice (for the price that i paid). Very central location in offenbach. And its 13 min walk away from Offenbach Main train station. There was a S-Bahn station next to the hotel but they were doing construction work on the train tracks."

Campanile Frankfurt Offenbach

Hotels in Offenbach am Main
Location: Offenbach Kaiserlei with direct connection to Frankfurt downtown (10 min by train or car) Rooms: king size bed or 2 separate beds, flat screen TV, phone, bathroom with rain shower and hairdryer, air condition, soundproofed windows, free WIFI Equipment: open lobby with working places, lounge chairs, bar, restaurant with continental breakfast buffet
"Headline: Not recommended if you want to be near the city. While the room was clean, it was far too small and lacked essential furniture like a wardrobe or a mini-fridge. The bathroom was the only spacious part of the room. The biggest downside is the location; being 6km away means spending an extra €25+ daily on transport. Any money you save on the room rate, you will likely spend on taxis or transit."

"The overall service was nice; however, there's one thing I would like to mention. About 15 minutes after I checked in and entered my room, a housekeeper opened my door without knocking, which is extremely unprofessional, especially since it's a four-star hotel, and there was no standard procedure. After this incident, I informed the receptionist, but the lady just said, ”We are sorry this happened to you,” without offering any compensation. Frankly speaking, I didn't see anyone willing to take responsibility, and I'm pretty sure this kind of accident will keep happening if no one takes this issue seriously."

I intended to stay for consecutive nights but accidentally made two separate bookings. Fortunately, the staff handled the situation very professionally and allowed me to stay in the same room, which I greatly appreciated. However, the room was not cleaned at all between the two stays. There were no fresh towels, the glasses and trash remained untouched, and only the bed had been made. To my surprise, I even found a cleaning rag under the desk. Given the condition of the room, I regretted not checking out and checking in again. It was disappointing, especially since the staff service had been excellent.

The rooms are clean, spacious, there are different towels and a hair dryer, TV. The coffee machine is in the recreation area at the entrance. One ”but”, in the morning hot water from 8 am (I don't know why, it was not like that before) and there is no one to turn to. Nearby McDonald's, Aldi, Rossman, other stores are within reach. Also not far away there are small restaurants, eateries. Parking spaces are available around the hotel. In general, a good hotel. Because of one ”blunder” I think it is not worth writing a negative review.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the train station. However, we had hair in our shower. I also have to complain that according to the website the check-out is at 11:30 am, at 9:44 a lady knocked on our door and then asked when we wanted to check out. When I said 11:00 she said check-out was at 10:00 and I didn't understand the rest of the sentence. But for a short stay the hotel is perfect.

The hotel seems to be run by Muslims, and there is a strange smell as soon as you enter; there is its own dedicated parking lot, which is more convenient for self-driving. The receptionist is a man, the efficiency is low, the service is not flexible...others have not experienced any service...
