Location:
The hotel is conveniently located not far from the entrance of Wumeng Prairie, though it’s a bit farther from the exit. I’d recommend staying here the night before entering Wumeng Prairie. The area feels quite remote, as it’s in a small town, which gives it a peaceful atmosphere.
Food:
They serve a delicious breakfast, all cooked by the hotel owner couple themselves. You can even order lunch and dinner from them. I especially loved their eggplant dish!
Service:
The service was excellent. There’s no elevator since the hotel only has a few floors, but a strong young lady helped carry our luggage up to the room, which was much appreciated. When we had a car issue, the hotel owner kindly came to help us figure it out. The kindness from the Guizhou people has been a highlight of our trip.
Room:
We loved our room—it had a cozy couch and a separate sleeping area. There was no air conditioning, but it wasn’t needed as the weather inside was cool and comfortable.

There is no reception and no restaurant. Breakfast is not served in time and guests rush to the kitchen to grab food. The only good thing is that before 8 o'clock in the morning, you can walk around the scenic area without anyone around, which is very comfortable. There are inns in the village. There is no transportation at all. I don't recommend visiting this scenic area if you don't drive yourself. There are only taxis that cost 160 yuan per trip and 200 yuan for the return trip. In fact, it is only 30 kilometers away from Panzhou High-speed Railway Station.
