The location is excellent, situated in a transportation hub and business district, providing convenient access to various destinations.

Very welcoming at the hotel, nice view. Upgraded us to a room with balcony, warm flooring , clean room and facilities. Went to their restaurant for dinner, they offer we may eat in our room, but we ok with having dinner at the restaurant. Food tasted great. The breakfast though simple but was nice and yummy. We love the ”小度‘ smart home as well as the projector tv. Watched 2 movie. Great. The view from the room & balcony were super.

The location of the homestay is really good. Looking out the hilly pastoral scenery, the morning tea garden terraces are misty, the environment is particularly quiet, the whole homestay has 5 rooms, which is too suitable for people who like a quiet holiday. Soup pot and breakfast, afternoon tea are delicious, and the bedding is very comfortable and clean. The guy at the homestay is very good and pet friendly. As a price of 1400, it would be better if the room facilities were more intelligent and equipped with a better sound. Overall it is recommended.

We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

Traveling with a large family, we only stayed one night, but everything from the food and accommodations to the transportation and scenery was incredibly satisfying. We're already looking forward to returning with friends and family for a more in-depth experience. Vivi was incredibly reliable and always willing to help. Oh, and the hotel food was excellent. We were very happy with both the breakfast buffet and the Zhu Guangyu hotpot in the evening. Surprisingly, the breakfast juice was delicious – it tasted freshly squeezed! All the staff were very service-oriented; one even proactively asked if I needed a drink when they saw I wasn't carrying one.

Our family of three stayed in a family room. Since our children were adults, we called ahead to confirm three beds, which were very comfortable and not crowded at all. The hotel was very nice and clean. There were three hot springs, and the front desk lady was very helpful, providing tips and services. Unfortunately, our arrival was delayed by heavy rain, preventing us from climbing Mount Emei. Instead, we drove to the nearby Liujiang Ancient Town and Guangming Temple. Guangming Temple is highly recommended, and a must-see if you're not in a hurry. The temple also offers vegetarian meals, rice paddies, lotus ponds, and a hydrangea gallery. So, even if you can't hike, staying at this hotel is a great way to relax and recuperate. It's well worth it.

The room was very clean, the environment was very good, not noisy, the hotel ladies were sincere and enthusiastic, and they also experienced Hanfu. Miss sister helped the children to send it. The hotel is a few steps away from the water street, it is very convenient to eat, drink and play. The family is very satisfied with the accommodation

Another stay at the Intercontinental, and as always, completely satisfied. This time, the entire experience was excellent, and I'm especially grateful to our butler, Doudou, for their consistently warm and enthusiastic service throughout. The other staff members were also wonderful. The cleanliness was impressive, and the breakfast was incredibly varied and plentiful. The kids had an absolute blast in the pool. We're already planning our next visit!

I booked a double room and a twin room, and when I saw two reviews, the decorations of the two rooms were the same, so I copied the reviews directly. My family went out for a hot spring bath together. When I arrived in the afternoon and turned on the lights, I felt that the whole room was very clean and beautiful. The ground was wooden and the bathroom was tiled. I thought the wooden floor was already very good, but when I turned on the air conditioner, I found that it was not. There is another switch that also controls the temperature. I turned it on without much thought, only to discover that there is floor heating under the wooden floor. The wooden floor in the entire room is heated and it is very comfortable to walk on. The TV in the room is embedded in a TV wall. The colors of the round table and chairs next to it can be seen to be consistent with the decoration of the entire room, and they look very coordinated. There is a children's playground on the first floor downstairs, with trampolines, projection games, slides, carousels, building blocks, etc. It is quite good to take the children to play in it before dinner. We soaked in hot springs at night and saw that there were indoor and outdoor ones. There were several pools outdoors. The decoration was like a pavilion hung with lanterns for lighting. It was a simple style. We found two pools, one high and one low, next to each other to soak in. The water in the upper pool It will flow to the pool below, and the water temperature in the upper pool is higher. It is about the temperature that will make your heart beat faster and sweat on your forehead after soaking for 10 minutes.
