The location is super convenient! It's less than a 20-yuan ride by Didi (ride-hailing app) from the hotel to the high-speed rail station and Jianmenguan. You can also walk one stop to the bus station and catch a public bus. There's a great breakfast place nearby called 'Guangyuan Specialty Steamed Cold Noodles.' It's popular with the older locals and only open until 1 PM. After having breakfast there, I was full of energy for climbing Jianmenguan!

Passing by Guangyuan Jiange County, I chose to rest in this house for one night. The room was clean and hygienic. It was mainly pet friendly. It included a simple breakfast. Very good hotel to use as a base for hiking different sections of the Old Shu Road. Service is friendly, there are boards with explanations of the different routes and how to get there. It’s within walking distance of the historic center of Pu’an and the starting point of the west route of the Shu Road.
