It took two and a half hours to drive here from the city center. The hotel combined with the Yemingsha (Singing Sand Dunes) amusement park was, in my opinion, the best combination for this trip. The hotel is clearly divided into two sections from the outside. I asked the front desk and learned that the white area (U-zone) was built with government funding and is slightly larger than the yellow area. The only downside was the shower drain wasn't working properly, probably due to too much sand clogging it. The bonfire party and fireworks show in the evening were also fantastic, making for a perfect end to my trip to Ordos.

There was a male waiter at the front desk with a bad attitude. I booked a family room for four people, and there were only two 335ml bottles of water in it. I asked for four more bottles, but he said it would be charged. This is the first time I heard that hotels charge for mineral water! The one point deducted from the service was by the male receptionist! The cleaning staff has a better attitude than the male waiter at the front desk! However, the fireworks show during the May Day holiday is still a plus!
