I only saw the aurora because I booked this hotel! When I looked up from the bridge leading to the hotel, everything around me was a bit bright. At first, I thought it was light pollution, but then I noticed several taxi drivers getting out to film it. It wasn't until many locals came over to look and take pictures that we realized it was the aurora. If I had stayed at a different hotel, I probably wouldn't have seen it. The room was large, and the bathroom was nice. The wooden decorations looked a bit old-fashioned in photos, but they weren't at all. There was also a cat and a dog. The owner didn't actively solicit good reviews; this is entirely a subjective assessment.

I originally planned to stay in Beihong Village to experience the authentic village life, as it's the northernmost village. However, due to a power outage caused by rain, I had to cancel my reservation there. While I was worrying about where to stay for the night, a Trip.com customer service representative called me, understood my situation, and helped me book this B&B instead. From now on, if I encounter any issues with a hotel reservation, I'll contact Trip.com immediately so they can address the situation faster and protect consumer rights. This B&B is located inside Beiji Village, so you'll need to buy an entrance ticket and a sightseeing bus ticket to get in. The owners are very kind and welcoming. Their sauerkraut dumplings are especially delicious and not greasy at all. The breakfast is abundant, and the pancakes are also very tasty, with a good variety of dishes. The accommodation itself is excellent; it's a wooden cabin, very well-built, and the facilities are quite new. I'm very satisfied.

Our family drove to Beihong Village, the northernmost village in China, and stayed at Shangbei Family Inn. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bedding was changed after each guest. You can order food, and the vegetables are picked fresh from the garden. The food tasted just like home and was very comforting. The atmosphere was great chatting and relaxing with other guests. The owner was warm and sincere. I highly recommend staying here!

I absolutely love this guesthouse! It's clean, comfortable, and they thoughtfully provide disposable toiletries for guests. The decor makes it feel like you're staying in a cabin abroad. The breakfast is delicious too. There's even a little courtyard outside the guesthouse that's perfect for photos, you can even try the 'splashing water into ice' trick there. This is an absolutely amazing guesthouse! 👍 Even before we got off the train, the owner started calling us frantically, worried we'd get ripped off. We originally booked a double room, but he upgraded us to a family suite. The room was very clean and comfortable. After showing us around, he took us everywhere – feeding reindeer, playing in the snow at his secret spot, and treating us to delicious food. The sweet and sour pork was absolutely fantastic! He even showed us how to make water freeze instantly – all for free, unlike the cheap places outside. Breakfast was included the next morning – the pickled vegetables made by the Russian auntie were incredibly tasty! The owner also helped us avoid many bad restaurants. In short, book this place with us! Highly recommended!

The wooden elements paired with warm lighting, against the backdrop of the snow-covered landscape, make every snapshot a masterpiece. Nine photos on social media aren't enough! The room was clean and cozy. In Mohe, where temperatures are tens of degrees below zero, being enveloped in warmth upon entering was pure bliss! After a day of winter activities, returning to the hotel to relax was a dream come true for hedonists! Immersing yourself in the romance of the northern winter landscape while enjoying a high-quality stay, I've already raved about it to all my friends planning a trip to Mohe. It's definitely worth it—just go for it!

The hotel helped us arrange a driver for our entire trip, making it easy for us to travel around Mohe at a cheaper cost. The driver are very helpful and helped us to book the attraction entrance tickets for us and we can pay him later at the end of our trip as the cost covered is mainly for him to bring us to attractions for our entire trip and it does not include attraction entrance tickets. Prepare some cash for easy payment back to the driver as for our country, we are being charged for extra 2% fees if we are using Alipay app payments above RMB200. So by paying them in cash for anything above RMB200, we can avoid paying the 2% fees. Also there are times when we make some payment while purchasing food, and we are having difficulties on the apps link which is another reason why cash is needed for the contingency period.
