Stayed one night, quiet rooms, we had a kitchen and lots of space, comfy beds, was clean and included breakfast which wasn’t great but served the purpose. We personally found the hotel hard to find as it’s located behind other things and the address is not the address when you put it in our gps. We drove back and fourth two times in a rain storm before locating it sort of behind a Walmart. Otherwise no real complaints.

We just stayed at this location while moving our son into IMG. The hotel was immaculate, great location, 1-2 miles from school…Walmart & Publix nearby for any essentials. The rooms are spacious, nice kitchenettes with large refrigerators and all you’d need. Beds are very comfortable! The staff was kind and accommodating. Especially Robyn at the front desk! No complaints at all here!! We will definitely stay here next time we are in town to visit! Thank you TownPlace Suites!! :)

Great stay! Came for 3 nights visiting Anna Maria Island. Beds were extremely comfy. Staff was super nice. I recommend if you want a clean comfy place to stay, this is your place. We will be back!

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights this past weekend. Room was ok. Wall to wall carpet which I hate because it's a bacteria trap. I called the front desk and requested for them to clean our room because we were going to be gone all day. We wanted to come back to a clean and tidy room. Front desk clerk said, " we only clean our hotel rooms every 3 days." First off, what the hell? Why? I paid full price for 2 nights and was denied a room cleaning. Complete BS. We came back from being gone all day to beds unmade, no clean towels, carpets not vacuumed. Hotel wants to cut corners by not paying housekeeping to clean rooms daily, but wants to charge you full price for their rooms. Rip off. I also need to mention the hotel is in a rough part of town. The Walmart next door has a bunch of low life ***** shopping in it and we saw the cops and fire department there twice the 2 nights were there. I'd avoid this hotel. Don't appreciate the cheap tactics to make excuses to not clean rooms. That's their job and that's what you pay for! Never coming back.

First time for us, and will most likely be the last. It’s cute, but for starters, the fire pit does not work apparently bc they have to have a permit for the propane? That should probably be removed as an “amenity” until it’s actually operational. With the cooler weather here, we specifically chose this hotel bc it had an awesome outdoor area from the pictures. Interesting though, as it’s sitting right next to propane grills that are operational! We walked in to our room to a funky smoke smell, felt like a sauna, tv not working, and the microwave beeping every 30 seconds bc of an error. We unplugged it, along with the tv bc there is no remote. There must be an event at IMG this week, bc there were 100+ kids and teens RUNNING around the entire hotel all weekend. We are currently training our rescue dog while traveling and the amount of shenanigans happening at this hotel was extremely overwhelming for him and us! Lastly, the housing division behind the hotel has a couple dogs that bark nonstop. I realize that is out of the hotels hands, but good to know for someone who would like a good nights sleep. EDIT TO ADD: We went out for breakfast on the day of checkout, and when we came back to the room we couldn’t get our key to work. Apparently they are battery operated? They had to call a locksmith, who showed up and told us not to watch him try to open the door bc it makes him nervous… see, the problem is- again, we have our dog in the room, and we weren’t comfortable letting someone literally break into the room without us being close by to monitor him as entry was made. As long time Marriott members, who travel about a dozen times a year, we were flabbergasted by the time we left! As you can see by the other reviews and comments from hotel management, they seem to spend more time apologizing to their guests than accommodating them. SAD! Because it’s pretty new and has lots of potential… clearly not the right people making the best business decisions here though!

we ended up staying at the Towneplace Suites Sarasota Bradenton West and the experience was not good at all. Keep in mind they cancelled my reservation without calling or emailing. I only found out cause I called front desk to find out about the digital key as we were driving down on the day of check in. So recap, y'all cancelled my reservation and never called or emailed me about the cancellation (I find out the day of when I called to find about digital key and front desk person could not confirm I was contacted about the cancellation because I wasn’t, we check in with other family we were traveling with well get keys get to room housekeeping still cleaning. We just drove 8 and a half damn hours and you couldn’t give us a room that was already cleaned? Well she rushed it and we were missing several items like soaps, paper towels, extra roll of toilet paper, toilet in our room would NOT flush correctly. They gave us a plunger and for 2 damn days we had to deal with the toilet ourselves!! Breakfast was disgusting even the family we were with didn’t like it. Nothing like squishy microwaved sausage yay! Microwaved Eggs with awful cheese in the middle were just that awful and the only good thing was the bagel which is sad. Yet Sunday morning Y’ALL HAD NO BAGELS. I’m sorry but this was one for the overall worst experiences we’ve ever had and we travel every weekend for soccer. We’ll never be back there.

I rarely write reviews but this one is necessary. We had a barely flushing toilet upon arrival and called for assistance. Because of Hurricane Ian, all rooms were full (although we saw people check in the next day) so we could not move rooms. Long story short, the maintenance person showed up the next day after 10 a.m. and he also could not fix it. We went two days without a working toilet and it was, to say the least, uncomfortable. My 81-year-old mother in law could not walk downstairs to the lobby bathroom because she has COPD. There was a sewer smell too (we were given an ADA room, so it was coming out of the drain on the bathroom floor). We had to pick up a plunger from the front desk and plunge away at the toilet again and again and again. There was some leaking from the ceiling from the hurricane. Others on our floor also mentioned the leaks - so it wasn't just our room. Ours was coming out of the ceiling lamp - enough to have to grab towels and a garbage can to catch the water. On day three, we could not take it anymore. Had to check out. We plunged toilet again and again and it finally fully flushed. I never worked so hard to get a toilet to flush. Then, the garbage disposal would not switch on and off. Bottom line is that staff was terrible at handling issues. There are many ways to handle an issue and I give them an "F." They also charged us the entire bill after we asked to speak with the manager upon check out and told she wasn't available for at least 30 minutes, perhaps avoiding us. We couldn't even have a conversation -- just got charged. Super passive aggressive. I think this was my worst hotel stay ever.

Poor service. Lack of training for the front desk clerk cost me $3700. She cancelled my room while I was still in it. They blamed me for the issues I encountered and said it was a valid reservation since I didn’t check out. Very upset platinum!!
