Queens Beach Tourist Village

Great place but a bit crowded. Have all amenities in the living space. Will have to share the pool with many others.

The best RV park on our australian trip. We had a lovely, comfotable cabin with a nice little terrace. Everything is so tidy and clean. We loved the tropical plants, the huge pool. A good pub and bottle shop just a few steps away. Nice BBQ area ( have one dollar coins with you) Good laundry facilities.

This was a 2nd return with our caravan. We had previously stayed back in 2001. We only want to approx 1 - 2 weeks as we like to travel around QLD rather than stay in one place. After our first visit, we wanted to return each year but, sadly, there were no vacancies. I mentioned this on their social media post and Lo and behold I had a call from the office within a couple of days. (This was in January 2024) and a site was arranged for us to visit for 1 week in August. Great service… Queens Beach Tourist Village is a little gem. I consider it to be one of the best in Bowen. Most of the sites have their own enclosed spots with lovely hedges. There are 2 pools, camp kitchen and BBQ areas. 3 spotlessly clean amenities blocks and beautifully kept grounds. There is a very short walk to the local pub which offer excellent value meals, especially Senior lunches. A short walk to the beach and golf course. If you don’t want to drive into the centre of Bowen, there is a bus stop close to the village. There are cabins as well. I haven’t stayed in one but they look very nice.

We paid extra for the larger powered site, well worth it. I spoke to management about the couple of negatives regarding our stay. Amenities block was clean and large, loved the piped music. The clothes lines are terrible, all the lines were stretched and washing almost touched the ground, needs to be tightened regularly. The park was full of interstate people who had been there for months, some very unfriendly and quite entitled!

This is an extremely well-managed park with friendly staff. The grounds and amenities blocks are well maintained and clean. We stayed in a comfortable renovated cabin with a double bed, kitchenette and modern bathroom with rain shower. The laundry facility was terrific. There were 3 or 4 large coin operated LG commercial washing machines and lots of washing line space next to the laundry. This is a great option for a beachfront stay at Bowen.

One of the best parks we have stayed at. Friendly helpful staff. The grounds are very well kept and maintained. Each site has a garden on each side and they are great in size. The people staying are extremely friendly and just a great bunch of people. Pub out the front with BWS is a bonus. Pet friendly beach not far away. Just a short drive to shopping. Certainly recommend and can’t wait to return for longer next time. Well done to all
