Hotel Dobra Vila Bovec is a peaceful , clean beautiful spot to stay while visiting Bovec. Decorated with a vintage theme this once old telecommunication building has been given a second life . The scenery is amazing , the garden and deck, call you to share with them beauty with a glass of wine . Friendly staff who keep the hotel spotless clean and serve up an amazing breakfast . A sauna on the grounds which will relax your mind and spirt. Do not miss this place on your next visit to Bovec , this is a gem

Art deco hotel with antique furnishings, so don't come here expecting a sleek, contemporary property. Instead this villa has a lot of history and character. The breakfast room and grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with a glass of wine in the afternoons. What really set this place apart was the kindness of the staff, especially the young woman who works at reception. She was incredibly warm and kind and really went above and beyond to help us.

My wife and I enjoyed four nights here. The hotel is decorated smartly and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. All of our numerous questions were cheerfully answered! The backside breakfast/sitting area has great views of mountains and gels so private! We will return!

Staying here was a real treat. The building and decor is all beautifully designed and feels calm and relaxing. Breakfast was great and presented very attractively with fresh flowers. The staff were superb - really friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful. We were sad to leave!

Zeer goed en uitgebreid ontbijt met producten uit de regio. Ruime kamers met frigo en airco. Uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel met humor. Ruime parking en ruime tuin. Zit je tijdens de voormiddag op het terras, dan komen ze zonder te vragen met glazen en een kan water, dit volledig gratis. Zoek niet verder!

Das Dobra Villa in Bovec ist ein sehr charmantes Hotel mit nur elf Zimmern. Die Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und freundlich. Immer zur Stelle werden den Gästen die Wünsche nahezu von den Augen abgelesen, aber auch auf die empfohlenen Wandertouren kann man sich bestens verlassen. Die Zimmer sind groß, vielleicht ein wenig dunkel, aber das wäre dann auch wirklich das einzige, was vielleicht zu kritisieren wäre. Ein großer Garten mit wunderschöner Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der Höhepunkt des Aufenthalts ist das fantastische Frühstücksbuffet mit einer Vielzahl frischer Früchte und Kaffeekreationen nach Wunsch sowie frisch bereiteten Eierspeisen. Aber auch Käse– und Wurstprodukte sowie hausgemachte Marmeladen sind von höchster Qualität. Dazu liebevoll angerichtete Pana Cotta-Gläschen, Frischkäse, unterschiedliche Brotsorten und Croissants. Dieses Frühstücksbuffet gehört zu den allerbesten.

The hotel is decorated from front to back in the style of the Bel Epoch. Absolutely everything is perfect, right down to the smallest detail. At breakfast, nothing is left to be desired. Here, too, everything is just right. There is a small flower on every piece of butter, the eggs are cooked to order (and possibly to your own specifications)... We felt very comfortable.

The young lady at check-in was very welcoming and professional. The hotel’s common areas are beautiful. Room was large and bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was not effective due to little air movement. We asked the staff and they said that the system’s fan only has one very low speed. As a result, the room does not get cool enough and it is stuffy. Breakfast is beautifully presented, and all the items are fresh. The gentleman serving in the breakfast room was very pleasant and efficient. Breakfast is not served until 8:00 which prevents guests from getting an early start. There is also a sign that states, “Only the first cup of coffee for breakfast is free.” Never in all my travels have I seen that type of statement in a hotel such as this. I’m not sure what management’s reasoning is behind that, especially considering the room prices charged.
