We have just got from this hotel after a 2 night stay, my partner booked a weekend away for us before having an operation, £300 for 2 nights for the upgrade of the our room. Had early check in which was good, on arrival room looked big which was nice, bed was huge and very comfortable but the bathroom was awful, it was small and we had no hot water from the sink or the shower we didn’t shower for 2 days!!! Well couldn’t as water was freezing. Room was so cold we had to put radiator on, I let the owners know we didn’t have hot water especially for the shower, only to be told we had to let the water run for a bit, which we did, nobody came into our room to check the problem. I came back to read the reviews and room 1 which we were in had the same problem back in 2022!!! There was no bar and this should of been stated on the website, parking was tight to get in and out, breakfast we had to keep asking for items that was left off the table and second time we arrived for breakfast we had moved tables so had to ask where we were sitting. Bit disappointing really as it wasn’t a cheap place to stay and we expected more for our money!!!

Brilliant little hotel within walking distance to both beach and town centre. We arrived early and were greeted by Harps who informed us that our room was ready (Room 8) superb large room with a bath and a great shower. Breakfast was fantastic and served by really friendly bubbly waiting staff. The room itself was kept spotlessly clean by housekeeping. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in Bournemouth.

If I could rate this with six stars I would. It is excellent. Not pretentious but real VFM. It is clean, comfortable and the people running the place are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fabulous and more than you can eat. We are actually still in the hotel and I’m writing this on my last day here. My wife and I would love to come back, hopefully not too far into the future.

Room was cold for the price we paid. A very limited choice for breakfast. Not everything on the breakfast menu was available. The chicken slice tasted of pork.

We have just returned home from an excellent 5 night stay at Balincourt. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The accomodation was top class and the breakfast options very good. The location couldn't have been more convenient with bus stops adjacent and a pub opposite.
