Stayed at the Balincourt from the 7th-10th September. It was our first hotel/guest house stay in Bournemouth. We specifically needed a place to stay that was close to my daughter and to all amenities but also peaceful. We found it all at the Balincourt. Our hosts we amazing. On hand if needs be but completely unintrusive. Breakfasts were plentiful and beautifully presented. Our room was spotless and serviced each day. Would we return, most definitely.

E' stata una vera fortuna trovare questo piccolo albergo, quasi invisibile. Veramente carino, sia internamente e esternamente. Camera veramente molto bella ad un buon prezzo. Ottima colazione. Personale veramente molto ma molto gentile. Lo consigliamo di cuore.

a very kind welcome by Ricci and Harp ! and that's it. At first sight, it looked like a nice hotel but once you entered the hotel and later the room, you found yourself in 'Faulty Towers' meaning in a hotel where time stood still for at least 30-40 years. this hotel needs a lot of love, more than some paint... it needs to have a total refurbishment. where it gets its rating, I don't know, maybe because it's been visited by a lot of elderly English people. But this is misleading the foreign visitor... the pictures on the internet do not reflect the actual room. everything was outdated, saggy matrasses, different types of lightning, very very, old-fashioned paintings on the walls, a small shower with a door not closing properly, breakfast was ok but it seemed that every piece of fruit in the pots was counted... sorry Ricci, but you can not make everything good by winning year after year a prize for the best-bloomed hotel in Bournemouth and showing these trophies all over the entrance... and by showing more than 50 'Thank you' cards of all these lovely English visitors. To me, it was merely a joke. I've been visiting the UK for more than 25 years now, work-related, and spent in over 500 hotels throughout the country... I know when I'm misled

We arrived at the hotel a little earlier than expected and were warmly greeted by our host Harps. We were shown to our lovely size room with a huge and comfortable bed. Plentiful welcome tray and a nice touch was chocolates 🍫 Good quality toiletries, lovely fluffy white towels. The whole of the hotel was very clean and comfortable lounge bar for the evening. The cooked breakfast was amazing with excellent quality food and was the best breakfast we’ve had anywhere. Harps and her staff were all very attentive and couldn’t be more helpful, nothing being too much trouble. We arrived as guests and left as friends. Highly recommended and the bus stop is close by too.

We booked in for a Mon to Fri break. As soon as we arrived and saw the beautiful flower display we knew we had picked a great place. We were warmly welcomed in the garden by Ricky who was attending the pots and troughs. Although earlier than booking in time we were told to go in as our room would be ready. There we met Harps with a real warm welcome. It was hard not to notice all the awards they have won as there were so many of them. We had booked a superior room and it lived up to its name. Everything you needed with large TV and a settee to sit and watch it. Full toiletries and bottled water. Breakfast room was very pleasant and superbly laid out followed by great food. There is so little else to say except it is a fabulous place to stay with a caring sociable couple running it. There is no doubt we will definitely stay here again. One last thing, parking off road with wide spaces was a great bonus. Keith Chester Birmingham

What a great place, Harps, Ricki and all of the staff are so helpful, friendly and very hard working, nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked to order with toast, fruit, yogurt, juice, cereals etc. all available. The supplies in the room topped up daily including fresh bottles of water and room cleaned daily too. On arrival we were offered the choice of two rooms, we chose room 5 and yes, the shower is a little snug (both hubby and I are slightly chunky) but we had no issue with it, apparently there are plans to improve this in the future too. We enjoyed having the door open with the use of the balcony too overlooking the garden, the weather was very hot during our stay. There is a lovely walk to Boscombe beach through the gardens/chine nearby. Bus stops in both directions just outside the hotel which was nice to be able to leave the car and get a bus into Bournemouth and beyond. We would return to stay another time.

A wonderful 3 night stay with my wife at this place about a mile out of Bournemouth beach area. Everything that could be done for us was done including on arrival being told that we have upgraded your room for you. Breakfast was lovely, with all you can eat toast if you so wished. Our room 10, was quite large and easily adequate enough for a 3 night stay. The bathroom was really nice. A tip is to leave the shower and or bath on for a while as the water takes a little time to heat up. The staff we encountered were extremely pleasant and professional especially at breakfast time. A bonus at this place was the proximity of Lynton Court where you can dine during the evening if you so wish by virtually falling out of Balincourt. Parking was also nice to have with another tip for drivers it is probably better to reverse into the spaces rather than to drive in as it could be a little difficult at times to reverse out of the spaces due to the angle they are at. No gripes at all with Balincourt a really nice place.
