Hotel very dated. Ceilings cracked, and floorboards creaked. The whole hotel needs renovating. Staff on reception were lovely. It’s just a shame the hotel looks so old.

Hotel dated , carpets threadbare old , Bedroom large but dusty and Tired bedcover and cushion covers dirty , bath panel hanging off shower curtain stained and holes due to mildew . Techno music untill 4 AM - AWFUL - booked in for 3 days left after 1 . Unable to get reply from Booking .Com complaint tel line not working , E mails No reply . will not use Booking .Com again .

Had a lovely stay at the Hotel and was very convenient for beach and resturants. Staff were all friendly and Hotel was very well run, very clean and comfortable. Our room was on 3rd floor and had a nice view of the Sea and nightclub music was no problem. Breakfast was very fresh and a good choice on menu. Would highly recommend a stay here and we do plan on staying again in August.

I’ve stayed before, and this is a sensibly-priced old-style hotel, really well positioned for BIC. You know, creaky floor boards and a hearty breakfast. BUT, and you saw that coming didn’t you? Since my last visit they have opened a night club “the 1812” which seems to do good business. And as it says on the tin, its operating hours are 10pm to goodness knows what time in the morning. Certainly after 3am. If like me you prefer to retire early and get a good night’s sleep, this is not the place for you!

Stayed here on a Thursday night for an event at the BIC. Parking and Check-In was really efficient and the staff are lovely but room 101 was very dated. Very hot in the room and the window was facing the traffic, lots of creaky floors. The music in the bar was on until 1am which was slightly annoying as it wasn't a Friday or Saturday so we wasn't made aware of this and we were staying right above the bar. Fire alarm went off at 5am due to people smoking in rooms. Concierge turned it off within 1 minute. Breakfast was lovely and the cocktail i had in the bar on Thursday night was really good - never had a grape cocktail before. Wouldn't return overall

Negatives …..Our room had a large crack in the ceiling above the bed, where they have had a massive leak, it looked like it was going to fall in on us at any moment !! Bath had a chip in it, bathroom lights only 1 working out of 4 and shower was just lukewarm even on hottest setting .
Positives …. Lovely breakfast and staff, great location.

Lovely staff
The staff were amazing, very friendly with great service. The only downside was the dreadful noise from the onsite nightclub that went on until 4am so didn't get much sleep on the Saturday. Much better on the Sunday when the club wasn't open.

This is an older property, the third floor bedrooms were chilly and generated a lot of condensation which was uncomfortable to sleep in.
Generally the rooms just need updating but the communal areas are well looked after and much warmer.
