The location is very convenient, many cafes, restaurants, shops and a big supermarket are within walkable distance.
And the interior design is so cosy, very nice.

The hotel location is very good and safe in the center of Bordeaux. The street is quieter at night. My room has a nice balcony. The bed was comfortable and clean. Very professional attitude towards guests and helpful in everything.
To be improved: if the curtains in the room are dirty, the reception girl is slow and not very helpful.

This is not a four star hotel. We had a nice enough room on the 5th floor overlooking the rooftops and rue Montesquieu which was nice; but there were several inconveniences: a walk in shower with a shower head that was too large for the space, a shower tray that was too shallow, and doors that didn’t seal shut. The result was water all over the floor. We reported this during our stay. The pump action soaps for the shower and sink area didn’t work. The bedroom had side lights by the bed and a lamp on the desk. But there was no central light and the room was so dark in the evening that we had to use a torch to see our map. The hotel decor in the public spaces was drab and dark (dark shades of green, grey and maroon) and it was actually depressing. Our bedroom ceiling and walls were dark green. Our breakfast was included but the €18 charge otherwise was too high given the unappetising presentation and limited variety of food, and it did not appear that trays were refilled. Several people wandered around looking for croissants. There was a phone in the room but no instructions as to how to reach Reception. On the plus side, the location was excellent.

Weird room. Color scheme is very dull; some furniture oddly placed. Bathroom small and shower didn’t drain well. Just seemed old and sad. Breakfast room was weird too. No windows and another strange color and decor choice. Quality of the food was fine. Staff were pleasant. Great location. Coffee machine in lobby didn’t work consistently and the area was not cleaned and restocked.

Hôtel au top, très bel accueil comme toujours, l’équipe au petit soin quand on a besoin de quelque chose. Pdj buffet très complet avec salé et sucrée, parfait pour les gourmands. Je recommande cet hôtel !
