It's a nice an quaint place in the middle of the fields. We had one of the cheaper rooms with shared bathrooms. It was well equipped and generally clean.
I knew the place from before and knew it was good and it didn't disappoint.

We stayed one night in the Grange building of Chateau de Bossey. The grounds are beautiful. I loved that it was out in the country. The Grange is a renovated barn. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately the window in our room cannot open so it was warm and stuffy. There was a fan in the room thank goodness but that didn't help the temperature much. The room had a full size and twin bed. It was spacious and about $170 for 1 night which included breakfast. Breakfast was at the main building and they had a good selection. We liked that it was in the countryside, plenty of walking you can do, nice views. The only downside was the warm room.

Best thing about this place is without doubt the surrounding area and the beautiful exterior and grounds. The inside and dining room is like a throwback from the 1960's. It's not bad on the inside but it just completely don't suit the outside. But for the money (relatively super cheap for Switzerland) I think it's well worth it. Just for the beautiful exterior and surroundings area. Pure and utter bliss of a night. I would stay again but remember, don't expect much once you're in.

The hotel is located on a terrace above Lake Geneva. A great view of the lake and mountains. It is surrounded by greenery and is exceptionally quiet. Very friendly staff. Good dinner (self-service with a very nice chef) and a nice breakfast buffet.

Personnel prior to Covid was very helpful and amiable. As a result, my family and I used to go to Chateau Bossey very frequently in the past, despite-- as some have quite rightly pointed out-- the banal cafeteria food and internal renovations. Lately, however, the personnel has changed and very unhelpful, even with old time customers. We were loyal customers but will avoid in the future.
