Das Hotel für ein Fünfsterne-Hotel nicht in allen Zimmerkategorien entsprechend ausgestattet. Manche Zimmer sind österreichisch verstaubt und sehr drückend möbliert. Ich fand es sehr ärgerlich, dass wir ein Zimmer mit altem Standard bekommen haben, obwohl mehrmals betont wurde, wir würden ein Upgrade erhalten. Das Hotel war vielleicht zu 20 % gebucht und trotzdem wurden wir in ein dunkles Zimmer ohne Aussicht, mit altmodischer Möblierung, gesteckt. Das Personal ist in allen Bereichen nur bestens zu bewerten. Es wird einem regelrecht jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Da möchte ich jedoch eine negative Ausnahme erwähnen. Im Wellness-Bereich ist der „deutsch sprechende Bademeister“ der Ansicht, dass ich mit ihm englisch sprechen muss, nur weil ich Gast in einem INTERNATIONALEN HOTEL bin. Ich denke, dass „Erziehung der Gäste“ nicht Aufgabe eines Bademeisters ist. Ich buche gerne Hotels, wo ich meine Mutter-Sprache sprechen kann! Selbstverständlich spreche ich mit ausländischen Mitarbeitern gerne Englisch, damit wir uns verstehen.

I've just experienced a real treat staying at this top class hotel. The staff are very friendly and professional ,food is excellent as are the spa and sports areas. Hiring skis is a simple process from the ski shop in the basement, ski passes organised by reception. Easy Access to the piste makes a stay at this hotel a real treat.

This hotel is more than a hotel. It’s an unparalleled experience combining both the highest levels of service and food with a convivial and congenial atmosphere. The impressively professional and kind Skardarasy family are ever present and the staff approach their work with care and as if it was their own business too. It’s incredible that they often predict your next question or request and have answered it before you’ve even thought to ask it yourself. The food is outstanding. The rooms (mine was a standard double, old style) are fastidiously clean and well appointed - extraordinarily large and in superb working order. The spa facilities are superb and well attended and clean at all times. Every staff member is of the highest standard. Even roles that are less integral to the operation of the hotel - the egg station man at breakfast, the sauna infusion master, the hairdresser, the ski room guys. So impressive. You leave this hotel with a feeling of contentment, relaxation and rejuvenation, but also with a sense of sadness at not being able to stay longer. If we manage to come to this hotel again we will count ourselves very lucky indeed.

Exzellentes Skihotel auf einem internationalen Standard der Spitzenklasse. Der Service ist Weltklasse, unser Zimmer war frisch renoviert und in Top Zustand. Man kann dieses Hotel leicht mit Hotelketten von Weltrang wie Oberoi , Aman oder Mandarin Oriental vergleichen mit dem Unterschied einer liebevollen und persönlichen Note der Eigentümer. Einzig das Essen ist sehr gut, aber vielleicht nicht ganz so raffiniert, wie man es erwarten könnte. Aber das ist Jammern auf ganz hohem Niveau! Wer sich wirklich für Skifahren interessiert und ein fantastisches Hotel mit grossem Spa sucht, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben.

The people in the Zurserhoff set it aside and make it a fantastic holiday where every member of the family is looked after. From start to finish our family felt so welcome and cared for due to the very attentive team in this hotel. Luka runs the restaurant with energy, fun pride and a world clsss attention to detail and he spares time between all that to make the kids laugh. Maria in the kids clubs is adored by the kids and when she was sick for a day or two she proved impossible to replace. Mika downstairs in the rental shop was also loved by the kids and so helpful. Nothing was a problem. The reception were so helpful it was like having a Sherpa. As was Christina before the trip. To have one of Ireland’s finest musician; Eddie Friel play piano and sing songs every night at the bar was something very special. The quality of cuisine would match any top restaurant globally. The spa is super. The culture of service and friendliness is second to none. We’ll be back.
