Really nice stay, in very quiet part of blue mountains. Blaq dinner was nice . Plenty of on premises parking and daily room service is also nice

Here's an improved version: "Our experience was quite disappointing. We stayed for only one night, but were charged for two a month later. Initially, when I inquired about extending our stay, there was no issue. However, when I tried to contact them about the overcharge, they did not respond and later refused to issue a refund. It's a shame that such practices exist. Think twice before booking with them."

Renovated interior with a chic look, however the toilet was pretty dark. Could do with better lightings.
Response from Property: Thank you for taking your time to leave us with your review and score from your stay. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our interior and our palm springs aesthetic. Our lighting is designed to set the mood for a relaxing and calm holiday, However, we do understand this is not for everyone. With out continuous updates, be sure to keep up to date with all the new, wonderful and exciting improvements we have at Kyah by following our socials. We hope to welcome you back to Kyah next time you visit the Blue Mountains. Kind regardsTeam Kyah

While the decor is fresh the condensation on the floor in the bathroom because there are no exhaust fans made the floor sticky even with window open. Main floor also not comfortable and had residue on it from cleaning so with aircon on felt sticky. The shower is small and awkward, drips and there was mold in the shower and tray filling up. Bed nice but sheets very starchy. Hot chocolate a nice touch but tea cups without saucers, no iron in room. Pool table in games room needs new sticks. Restaurant looks beautiful but mains too expensive- the coffee and complimentary breakfast is good. No hot breakfast available.

We loved Kyah Hotel - the staff were so friendly and welcoming as soon as we arrived. We arrived early so they took our bags to our room whilst we went out for the rest of the day. When coming back, we asked for dinner and although they weren’t offering dinner that night (Monday), they did have an extensive list of options available locally. When entering our room, we found this to be clean and well styled - it even had a real plant(!!) showing their care and attention to the stay. The bed was so incredibly comfy, I can’t even start to explain - exactly what we needed after a day out walking. And chickens!! The hotel has a hot tub, small garden and some lovely chickens, giving it a very boutique feel that’s well cared for. Overall, I would recommend Kyak Hotel to anyone - we had a fantastic one night stay here and have no doubt you will too! (And that’s coming from a Brit)

Nice public area/bar that doubles as reception. Large room with king bed. No cupboard, so nowhere to hang clothes, so cant unpack if staying multiple nights. The shower is very good, and the bed very comfortable. Cleaning was a bit inconsistent, on the 2nd day my bath mat and hand towels were taken but not replaced. Cold wet bathroom floor for 24-hours. The included continental breakfast is ok, if a bit bread heavy. Some cereal and fresh juice would be a simple addition to make it very good. The attached restaurant is up market, very nice but pricy. There is a sports club across the road if you want a cheaper eats. It is 20-mins walk to town for other options. It was fine and would stay again.

For starters the colour scheme in my room is my favourite so I automatically loved it. The room was spacious and quiet. Reception was welcoming and dinner (because of my onion allergy) was catered to nicely by the chef. It was delicious. Service was friendly, always with a smile. Hot tub and sauna as well as continental breakfast were included in the price making this pleasantly more than affordable. The whole place has a ‘clean’ lines feel about it which appealed to me… and it’s straight down the road from Evans lookout and the Grand Canyon/Neates Glen walk… I’d definitely come back!

The manager lady was rude and made everything about our stay one of the most unforgettable experiences ever. She went out of her way to show how much “power” she had. She managed to have my wife in tears, all she cares about is her self importance and not the customer service. We used to eat there on a regular basis but will never be back while the self important bully is employed there…. Such a shame because without the manager it could be a great place

Just a heads up our stay was less than perfect we are locals in Blackheath and whilst ever you have the lady with the 50s look (tattoos and DA hairstyle I think she is a manager/ senior person there) we will not ever come back there. Not because of her looks, but she went out of her way to make the checking in process as deliberately difficult as possible, it was our wedding weekend and she managed to get my fiancé in tears ….. a pretty big thing. we used to eat there on a regular basis and recommend this place, we recommended your place for accommodation and on this particular weekend there were 5 couples booked in. The person who made it so bad for us should not be in the hospitality business. We have informed all our friends of the TERRIBLE experience we had at your establishment because of 1 person who seemed to enjoy making life difficult and showing off her “power” just for the sake of it

We had read the reviews before we booked so we knee that some people seemed to love it and others not like it so much. We really liked it and would go back again - sure the bathroom was a little tired, but everything still worked well. Room was nice, staff were really friendly and thoughtful, and the room was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was also rather good. We will go again.

This hotel is simply superb! Every corner filled with creativity, surprises and carefully planned. Loved everything it had to offer including hot tub, sauna, sumptuous breakfast and dinner at Blaq. The stunning autumnal colours of Blackheath the and the property were the icing on the cake. Was thinking of keeping this a secret, but it really is too good not to share.

The KYAH looks so lovely on the internet and upon arrival in the public spaces as well as at first glimpse in the room. However, once you look more in detail as you stay in the room and would like to have a good time relaxing and enjoying the Blue Mountains, you will discover, it is not worth the price. Design ist nice and fancy, however the bathrooms will need some refurbishment soon. Nonetheless, I have never seen so much mould in the room itself. This is very dangerous, especially when you not just for one night and are with your whole family including Infant. I have never seen so wet windows after just sleeping which explains the mould. In addition, after having a shower the whole bathrooms hast hundreds of drops from the very low ceiling. While adressing these problems to staff, no real interest in solving the problems were shown. While the remote control was not working, this was solved quickly by replacing batteries. Breakfast was very disappointing. E.g. toast was empty and it was said, there is none anymore available. However, while having a glimpse to the kitchen, there was a full package of toast handled by one of the kitchen staff, but not for the tiny buffet. Dinner at BLAQ was tasty and staff very nice. The rest ist design and in my personal opinion very disappointing and way too expensive "hospitality". Better going elsewhere next time.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely boutique hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved the grounds, especially the vegetable gardens and chicken sooo. Th y had these lovely sitting areas where you could enjoy a drink and read to your hearts content. The ease of booking the extras like their amazing hot tub, sauna and bikes for hire was fantastic. We enjoyed the forest walks and quaint township.
