5/5 We stayed her a a fitness event nearby and upon arrival we we greeted by a lovely and friendly gentleman who was more than happy to help. We stayed in a suite which was very clean and comfy. We had to leave early so we didn't get breakfast so I can't comment on that, but I would definitely book again for next year.

Nice hotel, decent location and with a really nice breakfast (cooked breakfast was excellent). Price was fair, and comparable to local hotels, room was quiet and decently furnished with the only down side being a tired bathroom that needed a bit of TLC, but that's it really. Also has a nice bar.

We stayed for one night in a Suite, for a wedding nearby. It is in a nice peaceful area with the security barrier giving peace of mind. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel and room were clean We opted to pay for an English Breakfast - this was advertised everywhere as £10.95 each, but when he put it through the till it was £11.95 each. The signage material needs changing for this. The breakfast was quite nice but the mushrooms were overcooked. We enjoyed yhe rest of the breakfast. For a 4* hotel, I think the following would be good additions as standard - Feather pillows would be nice to have as an option - I brought my own for a good nights sleep. A better selection of toiletries to include body lotion and shower cap, in addition to the shampoo and shower gel. Invest in the large containers rather than the small individual ones to be more eco friendly. Bottles of water in the fridge would be a nice addition. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at The Avenue Hotel, and would stay again.

Stayed with a friend when going to a wedding. Really nice well presented room and bathroom, bed was really comfy and all amenities were provided. All along with lovely service. Would definitely recommend to anyone whether it is for leisure business or anything else.

This is only the second time that I have stayed over at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and the room was just perfect. The hotel is set in a beautiful little sleepy village, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful short stay location.

I strongly advise against booking this hotel. After taking my money, the owner, Paul Lynch, completely ignored my requests for support and a refund. Once payment was made, he showed no interest in providing the service I paid for. I’ve reached out multiple times to resolve the issue, and have been met with silence. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and feels like a scam. Until I receive a refund, I will continue to share my experience to warn others. Be cautious and consider booking elsewhere.
