I can only echo precisely what others have said on here. Staff awkward and demanding on reception, more interested in speaking Hindi and playing on their phones than dealing with customers. I came here to stay over for a cheap night near a long-standing client. They wouldn't accept me because I didn't have any photo ID on me, which I've never needed before. The tiny car park was ridiculous with tiny spaces and a skip in one of them. I ended up having to pay to park in a nearby multi-storey car park, drag my bags around to here, only to be told that I could not stay due to the lack of ID. They were unreceptive to my failed attempts at bargaining to stay with them (I had to work urgently from a hotel that night), so I ended up dragging my bags back up the stairs in the multi-storey car park, paying my parking fee, and leaving - for a different hotel. An absolute disgrace with unhelpful staff, I'll never consider them again.

Firstly anyone who is thinking of stopping here or has clicked on this hotel to look BACK UP…. I stop in hotels week in week out with work for years and hands down this has been the worst one yet. I was there was on site parking when I got there the hotel has a car park with 3 spots and believe it or not when I got there they were full and with it being in the city centre parking cost a nice chunk on top of the price. Then we finally get to reception with a guy who I can only assume was there to drive customers away, because not only could he hear or speak any English.. I had to repeat my self easily 50 times just to tell him my name….the check in took around 45 mins to do……:after 30 mins and he is what I thought was a game of Pictionary with me I finally worked out he wanted £100 security deposit which wasn’t on the website and side we prefer card but will take 7 days to return, well obviouslly I gave them cash because I would have never seen it again otherwise… When I got to my room I asked for twin beds. Shock it was a double and when I went back to tell/sign that we want twins he said they don’t do twins so again that was fun to hear and I had to pay for another room and shock another security deposit which again took around 50mins. I had a room with a ceiling 4 meters high. The room was freezing when I got in as they turn the heater off it, but cos of how high the ceilings were it only took 4 hours to start getting a little warm in there so that wasn’t to bad. Got warm just before I fall asleep. Says it has a pool well all I could see was a bath for rats well I assume that’s what it was as there were 2 in there doing lengths There is no vending machines or anything like that so if you wanted a snack you had to walk into town to get something but that’s not a big deal….. And again this is my fault as I should have left after the first night but we were here for 2 and I waited by the window for a car spot, finally one became free so I managed to get the van in the car park…. once again another rubbish freezing night in a bed that again I can only assume was rocks for a mattress……. But to top it off my van and 2 cars got broke into. You have to walk past reception which is glass walls to get to the car park. And the rection walll in in the car park… but apperently this receptionist who was clearly still learning speaking English a night school didn’t see a van being drilled and 2 cars windows smashed, I can’t prove anything but if I had my last £20 in my pocket I would have been putting on at the bookies that he was involved somehow…. SO DO NOT GO HERE. WORST HOTEL IN THE WORLD. RATS, THIEFS, AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ROOMS EVER…. IF PEOPLE STOP GAMVLING AND THINKING ITS LIKE THE PHOTOS THEY SHOW THIS PLACE WILL BE CLOSED WITHIN THE MONTH… ask for recent photos

Do not stay here! Clearly used for DSS (no problem with this, but if you were a lone traveller you should be made aware). Trash bags in hallway, dirty bathroom floor. Fire alarm was set off just after 4am and no staff came to switch it off, so we left. Overpriced, unclean and lack of safety.

Zain arranged a discount with them for us. Ideal Town Centre location. Walked to Weatherspoons for breakfast. Definitely would stay again

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in: The room had no central heating, just a small electric radiator which had minimal effect in a big room. No good for cold wet November night. No heating in the bathroom/ cheap toilet seat was broken. The bed sheets had not been changed and had been slept in. I discovered this after the one member of staff had left for the night. I slept in my day clothes. Likewise, the towels had not been changed and had been used by previous occupant. I showered using a shirt to dry myself. There was a dirty cup, a disused bottle of water and bag of rubbish on the floor. In the morning, there was nobody on duty to speak to about the 'faults.' Altogether a total disgrace and a really bad experience.

Outstanding stay from start to finish. Owner incredibly welcoming and could not do enough for you. Smart TV’s , great shower , comfy bed and all other extras you could ask for. Lots of food places in the vicinity as you could not be any more central. Will 100% be back.
