Great small place. Clean and affordable. Breakfast is okay for the price. However after having my room cleaned I had my silver earring lost and did not receive any help from the owners.

The hotel is above a bar, which is a converted B&B. The space is very small, and the privacy and security are very poor. There is no air conditioning, and the room is like a steamer. I can't cancel it after booking. I slept in it for a few hours and felt like I was almost suffocated. In the end, I decided to spend more money and change to another hotel.

Room was small and very hot. Breakfast was in the pub bar. Self serve off the bar counter. No hot food..
Very much a budget hotel.

The hotel is very near central Birmingham and few minutes walk to the mall, high street and train station which is convenient. The stairs are steep as noted on previous reviews, but bearable for fit travelers. The room is quite small but has everything you need for a short stay. There is limited selection on the breakfast spread.

Location: Chinatown, 10 minutes from the train station to the city center
Price: Invincible cheap, great value for money
Facilities: Basically everything. Small bar upstairs. Didn't have breakfast. Toilet paper towels are very thick (too touching)
Check-in is very convenient. Just report your name and get the key. Check-out is even more convenient. Just put the key in the mailbox
Minor disadvantages: Late check-out will be charged extra (10 pounds per hour, expensive). Hotel check-in time is based on the opening time of the bar (very troublesome if you go too early)

Great hotel above a nice pub with easy access to clubs and restaurants in *** Village. Friendly staff!!
Stairs to the room are very steap and rooms quite small and can get quite hot!
