The location was excellent, and checking in was smooth. The room, however, was quite small, with a window facing a wall, but that was understandable. That said, there were a few issues that were rather unpleasant: 1. Constant sharp noise from the neighbouring shower Throughout both nights, there was a persistent, sharp noise coming from the shower in the next room. It was very random, turning on and off, and lasted for several minutes at a time. The sound sounded like screaming from the shower room or potentially the boiler, and it woke both of us up multiple times leading to some very bad sleeps. 2. No cleaning service Firstly, upon arrival, there was only one small towel for the two of us and black ink stain on the sheets. Second day for cleaning, we understood that we needed to speak to reception to have the room cleaned, so we did this the following morning. We specifically asked for new towels, left the appropriate label on the door, and even spoke directly with the receptionist, who took note of our request and assured us it would be handled. However, when we returned for shower 10pm that evening, no towels had been changed. We had to put our clothes back on and go downstairs to request fresh towels in person. 3. Check-out time confusion According to trip.com, check-out was at 14:00. However, our room key expired at 12:30, and the receptionist informed us that check-out was at 12:00. When we showed our booking confirmation from trip.com, we were told that the information on third-party platforms doesn’t align with the hotel’s policy. 4. Price discrepancy When we booked via trip.com, we later realised it was £10 more expensive than booking directly through the Premier Inn website. While we didn’t bother to cancel the booking at the time, it’s worth mentioning for future guests—always compare prices on different platforms.

Really unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there was a huge amount of dust anywhere that I was sneezing continuously. Also, the most disgusting thing were the bedsheets, stained with yellow spots! I asked for a new set of bedsheets and the reception gave them to me and I had to put them on, because there was no one of the cleaning team to do it. Very very very unsatisfied.

Room 222 pleasant enough room beds very comfortable shower spot on but, got woken up at 6.45 to what sounded like furniture getting pulled across the room, a towel that had quite a large hole in the middle when I got showered and dressed I went down stairs to complain but there was no one at reception so went out for breakfast and had a walk about, once I returned I complained, young lad was very pleasant and gave me a telephone number to complain of which I did and got fobbed off saying I did not complain at the time, they expected me to go down in my PJ's to complain at the time of it happening, I explained I was not willing to do that I wanted to get dressed first and because of that they couldn't accept my complaint, I further mentioned the towel and they said the same, so did they expect me to go down to reception with the towel wrapped around me with a hole in, hence not giving me time to get dressed before my complaint and nobody on reception to complain to after I hung around for roughly 10 mins just no staff available, and the customer care is a disgrace

In a room right by the lift door. Was also by a heavy fire door which had no soft close so was banging all night. Didn’t get a wink of sleep. Breakfast was tasty for what we had but hardly any choice at all, one of the poorest premier inn breakfasts we’ve ever had

Omg the lady on reception was so nice to me just now. Just come in from a night out, quite early, but everything had just got too loud and all I wanted was to curl up nice and cosy with a hot chocolate. So before I went up to my room I wanted to check at reception if there was hot chocolate in the room. She said she didn't think so and I said ok never mind then but seeing the bar was closed asked me to wait a sec. She nipped into the back and came out with a packet of Cadbury's instant hot chocolate. I could have hugged her. Thank you so much!

Location :- In the heart of the city centre with access to trains and busses. Overall Service - 10/10 service from the lady on the front desk and the lovely girl who served me in the restaurant. Very friendly staffs. Can't fault their customer service at all. Room - Normal room as it was busy during the festive period. Spotless room. Parking - Can park outside during the Ringo Parking App. Limited parking First come , First serve. There's a few NCP around , 5/10 mins walk from the hotel. Food - Was a bit unlucky as they had a limited menu due to food shortage. Opted for whatever was on the menu. Everything that came out from the kitchen was solid. No complaints whatsoever. A bit gutted they had a limited menu. Will definitely go back and try the rest of their menu.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The rooms we had booked were comfortable and clean, and we had a lovely view over the cathedral. It's a great location for exploring the city centre, and easy to pop back to the hotel. Parking was easy and fairly close at Snow Hill station as suggested.
