Die Nixe ist ein wunderschönes Hotel am ruhigen Ende der Binzer Strandpromenade. Die neuen Hoteleigentümer haben sich der historischen Villa liebevoll angenommen und die schönen Designzimmer dezent renoviert und verbessert. Das vielfältige Frühstück lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig und enthält auch viele lokale Produkte. Man sitzt bei schönem Wetter sehr gemütlich auf der Gartenterasse mit Blick auf die Promenade und die Ostsee. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Wenn man ein Zimmer mit Ostseeblick bucht, wie wir, kann man bei entsprechendem Wetter den Ausblick auf einen herrlichen Abendhimmel über der See genießen. Es gibt in dem Hotel zwar kein Abendessen, aber viele Restaurants in Laufnähe. Wir haben aber am ersten Abend das Restaurant des Schwesterhotels. „Hotel am Meer“ ausprobiert, das etwas weiter weg war (ca 10 Min zu Fuß). Das hat uns dann so gut gefallen (insbesondere auch der sehr freundliche Service), dass wir auch die anderen Abende gern über die Promenade dorthin spaziert sind und die um die Nixe umliegenden Restaurants gar nicht mehr ausprobiert haben.

We wanted to visit Rugen island for already some time. Selected smaller hotel at Binz, located just pedestrian walking area from the Beach - which has been also regularly maintained and clean. We have booked suite which turned to be very comfortable and clean. Hotel is also equipped with smaller Spa area - Dry and Wet Saunas, relax room, all very clean. Good breakfast.

Gutes Frühstück, Zimmer sehr stylisch; nicht alles war praktisch, aber hübsch. Sehr ruhig. Tolle Lage am Strand. Parken direkt am Haus. Netter kleiner Wellness- Bereich. Hinsichtlich des Designs des modernen Trakts geht etwas die Optik vor Funktionalität; bspw. Armaturen, Toilettenspülung, Schiebetüren schlossen nicht richtig, Minibartür war immer halboffen, Beleuchtung etc.. Der Fachkräftemangel war stark zu spüren; so wurden wir mehrmals angerufen, um abzuklären, wann wir ankommen. Letztlich war die Rezeption doch nicht besetzt und wir mussten den Schlüssel in einem Partnerhotel abholen. Ein anderer Gast meinte, dass sei "Jugendherbergen -Niveau". Finde ich persönlich etwas übertrieben. Aber bei einem Haus dieser Preisklasse macht das keinen guten Eindruck. Sehr schade fanden wir,dass das hochgelobte Restaurant geschlossen hatte. Alles in allem war das Hotel zu teuer

Villa direkt am Strand, stilvoll von außen und geschmackvoll innen. Frühstück mit individuellem Service am Tisch, leider im Oktober (wie wohl den Großteil des Jahres) im Restaurant im Souterrain, entsprechend dunkel und ohne nennenswerte Fenster mit Ausblick). Spa klein und fein, aber auch im Souterrain. Unser DZ „Deluxe“ im Neubau im 2. Stock hatte zwar Sonne, aber Blick in Erster Linie auf den Parkplatz des Hauses, gegenüber der Straße erst der Park. „Lichtdurchflutet“ ist übertrieben, da Fenster am Bett und im Bad ohne Hochziehen des dunklen Plissees vollen Einblick aus dem dicht angrenzenden Nachbarhaus gewähren. Die schwarzen Schränke im Flur waren sehr unzureichend beleuchtet, dh Stirnlampe hilfreich. Auch war das Badezimmer keinesfalls groß, die Dusche schon gar nicht. Der Griff der Balkontür war kaputt und total wackelig, dringend auszutauschen. Das Konzept des Fine Dining Restaurants nur mit den Menuvarianten für 85 bzw 95 € pro Person war für uns keine Alternative. Wir bevorzugten diverse wirklich gute Restaurants vor Ort mit vernünftigen Preisen. Die Suiten im Haupthaus wohl attraktiver. „Rezeption“ und damit Ansprechpartner im Haus selten besetzt,

The hotel has an old and a new building. We were in the new building, which has rooms with a view of the hotel’s car park. As the weather wasn’t inviting, we didn’t spend time on the balcony. The interior design of the room was very modern, pleasing to the eye and provided a small relaxing living-room. Due to space though, the bedroom and the bathroom were designed rather weirdly and required some getting used to. It was not possible to walk around the bed. One side of the bed was accessed through the bathroom. The other from the hall. The hall was fairly dark and the cupboard space there had no lighting. Despite these points we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was served at the table in the restaurant and had everything, we wanted. We didn’t manage to visit the spa area, which is apparently small, but fine. Everyone from the reception staff to the cleaning staff to the breakfast staff was very friendly. We visited the restaurant in the evening, which is in a separate review.
