Fin plassering og flott by. Stusset på at vi måte betale ekstra for håndklær når man betaler ganske mye for oppholdet. Kom heler aldri noen og fylte opp såpekoppen. Samt ingen kunne engelsk i denne byen. Alt av opplysninger står på tysk. Så det burde stått på engelsk også.

Just returned home from a 4 night stay at Hotel Merkur. I had taken my 3 Children on a Monday to Friday holiday to celebrate their milestone Birthdays, my twins turned 21 and my other daughter celebrating her 40th. I chose this hotel because of the reviews of how friendly the hotel staff were and all the personal touches they provided, such as, bottle of bubbly on arrival and homemade Jam and/or marmalade as a leaving gift. Sadly we saw nothing of this despite me emailing them beforehand to inform them of our reason for the holiday. The room we had been given was 002 and although very basic, we had a great bathroom. The windows looked on to a wall so not much daylight in the room, but we were okay with this as it kept the room cool and we didn't plan to be in all that much. Not wanting to be negative, but... on arrival all we were given was the key and told where our room could be found, no welcome pack or even information about the hotel facilities etc. (We only found out on the last day that they had a courtyard we could have used and that they sold soft drinks at recetion.) The room didn't even have tea/coffee making equipment, which we found very unusual and disappointing. The last straw for us was, when checking out was asked if we had taken anything from the mini bar to which I replied "what mini bar?" "The one in your room" eh??? We didn't have a mini bar!! Left us thinking we must have had the worst room in the hotel and we felt like second class guests. On the positive side the towels and bedding were changed daily and the breakfast was good. Oh, I forgot to mention, my daughter came back to the hotel when I was asleep and didn't want to knock the door too loud in case it disturbed other guests, si asked us she could be let in and was told they didn't have another key, so she sat in reception. Eh???!!!. I loved Prague and will definitely go back, but not to Hotel Merkur.

Schönes Hotel für einen Rügen-Urlaub! Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der Promenade, dennoch schön ruhig. Es bietet genügend Parkplätze (auf Rügen leider recht problematisch). Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, die Betten bequem. Frühstücks- und Abend-Buffet bieten eine große Auswahl. Eine Bar zum gemütlichen Tagesausklang ist auch vorhanden. Schön ist der Wellness-Bereich. Die Schwimmbäder sind herrlich temperiert. Einziger Nachteil: Gäste, die keine Rücksicht nehmen, grad mit Kindern/Jugendlichen, auf diejenigen, die einfach nur schwimmen möchten. Genügend Badetücher sind dort stets vorhanden, der Bereich ist lange geöffnet. Das Hotel verteilt sich auf mehrere, nicht zu hohe Gebäude. Ein sehr gutes Haus, das nächste Mal ist schon gebucht. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wo fange ich an? Wichtig! Vorab Stellplatz reservieren! Auf gar keinen Fall Essen mitbuchen: vollkatastrophe!! Abendessen zu dritt, 2 Erw 1 Kind 105€ - Verkocht, Angerührte Soßen aus der Packung, Tiefkühlprodukte aufgetaut. Wirklich schlimm! Nichts frisch, bis auf den Salat, Rest aus der Packung. Bitte spart euch das Essen, ist es nicht wert. Therme, auf den Bildern schön, Realität: habe mich an der Mischbatterie im WC Frauen geschnitten, verrostet und veraltet. Spiegel kaputt und verrostet. Fugen kaputt oder schimmelig. Im WC Kabinen kaputt. Dusche verkrustet und voller Kalk. Thermalbecken, Fugen veraltet und dreckig und die Liegen veraltet und verrostet. Keine Möglichkeit sich was zu Essen oder Trinken zu bestellen. Das kann jede Therme wo anders besser und jedes Wellnesshotel. Positiv: Ferienzimmet sauber, keine Zwischenreinigung! Betten bequem und Bad modern! 2100€ für 7 Tage?! Nein! 4 Sterne Hotel - Nein!

Gut war der kostenlose Shuttle vom Bahnhof zum Hotel. Das Hotel selbst ist in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war ok , aber nichts Besonderes. Der Wellnessbereich war auch ok. Ärgerlich ist , dass das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis nicht stimmt - und zwar an keiner Stelle. Für 210 € die Nacht erwartet man kein abgewohntes Hotelzimmer mit ungepflegter Terrasse. Es war sehr enttäuschend.

Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich Eingerichtet. Bequemes Bett. Ein praktischer Wäscheständer steht auf dem Balkon. Einen Wasserkocher bekamen wir auf Nachfrage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir hätten es gut noch ein paar Tage länger ausgehalten.
