We had a wonderful stay here at the Mercure in Biel. Check in was fast. Room and Hotel was spotless clean. Aircondition worked great. Bathroom with showergel, shampoo, liquid soap. Unfortunately we did not have time to check out the fitness and sauna on the 6th floor. 24h Reception is great.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is like a business hotel. There is a coffee machine and bottle of water. There are extra pillows and a safe. Centrally located. Extremely small rooms. Clean and modernly furnished. Extensive breakfast. As an Accor Platinum member, however, I felt very badly treated. No room upgrade with the information that they were fully booked. No other amenities that would have been due to the status. If you have more than 60 overnight stays a year in the same hotel group, you should make more of an effort to accommodate such business guests.
