Biei Hotels with Pools

This is a bit aged hotel but I just like it's nostalgia feel of the building, it's layout and very quiet environment make it feel so relaxing for holiday stay. Hotel serve a simple breakfast and free parking beside it, I guess due to the number of traveller and also hotel stuff hence hotel main door will be locked mid night but that bo problem to us at all as nothing much to do really surrounding the area at night. All good and I will consider come back again if got chance in future.

Avoid! After lying on the bed for an hour, I started to itch all over, and several big lumps appeared, like insect bites. I took two baths and soaked in a hot spring, but new lumps kept appearing. I asked the staff to change the sheets but was refused, saying that I could only change them myself... Not only did they not provide medicine to treat insect bites, but they also said that they could only provide disinfectant. . Only after the second strong request did they send two elderly male service staff to change the new sheets. The front desk guy's ability to express himself was extremely poor. He couldn't understand English. He had to use a menu that was written inexplicably to introduce the dinner included in the room rate in English. Three people used Chinese, English and Japanese translators to speak and gesture. After more than ten minutes, I still didn't understand what it meant. I thought that dinner only provided a piece of beef and a bowl of soba noodles. In the end, the dinner was inexplicably upgraded. As a result, the dinner menu was actually very long and there was no need to upgrade. The heating in the room and the bathroom was manually adjusted. The temperature was not very high for a long time. Compared with other hotels, the room was much colder. I had to wear a sweater or cover myself with a quilt in the room all the time (which was why I started to itch all over).

The location is very good, 3 minutes walk to Shirahige Falls, and there is a shuttle bus to see the Kiyotaki Pond in the evening, although there is nothing to see in Kiyotaki Pond in this season. The hotel has a round-trip shuttle service from Asahikawa Station, which is super good! No need to take the public bus and carry the luggage around at the right time. The open-air bath is relatively small, and it is okay for the first experience. It was the first time for a southerner to see the kerosene stove in the room. When it was turned on and off, it smelled very strong. I asked the front desk to confirm that there was a safety hazard of kerosene before using it. However, after using it, the room was indeed very warm.

Very clean hotel. The room is very mini. Facilities are complete. But the space with children is too small to be suitable. The boss is very good to take the initiative to help guide the way. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby

A homestay run by the two couples is clean and tidy. The room has a bathroom, but the bath has to go to the first floor. The Western breakfast is good. It is about 3 kilometers away from Meiyi Station. After arriving at Meiyi Station, call the landlord and the landlord will come to pick it up; it will be delivered to the station when you leave. Very good experience, recommended.

The scenery outside the window is very good. You can see Rizhao Jinshan (Mount Biei and Mt. Tokachi at sunset) from the room. The facilities are not bad except for the old bathroom. Breakfast and dinner for three people (a very common banquet meal) only costs 1,000 RMB. It also includes free pick-up and drop-off from Asahikawa Station and free pick-up and drop-off from Aoike in the evening. It is very cost-effective. The waiters also answered all questions and were eager to help. The most special experience was soaking in an open-air hot spring in the heavy snow the next morning, just like the Hokkaido macaques

There is a kitchen available and the living room is very spacious. It feels like living in your own home. The only pity is that there is no elevator and you need to carry luggage on the second floor🤣 But generally speaking, it is highly recommended. There is also a curry pork chop rice restaurant nearby that is very delicious😋👍

The hotel description did not capture the situation enough. I was confused due to lack of room pictures. They also posted several listing for different rooms under different hotel name section. But this room is perfect for us. The location is a bit far (if you are not used to walking) from the station but it is only around 7-9 minutes walking. The surrounding area is a quiet neighborhood. The building is new and very clean. It was also warm inside even when the weather forecast said -14 celcius outside. The japanese food they served was also very good. They provided free coffee/tea and water in common area. They also let us lent their microwave. The bathroom is only one but very clean and comfy. The room has its own mini fridge, ac, and tv. If you are wondering where to stay in Biei, I definitely recommend this place.
