Good hotel, great location, but disappointed with the service… either you stay for one night or 4 nights they will only put once water in your room when you first arrive. Which is not fair for people who pays for several nights. I asked the front desk and they simple said no. Same about the Sauna… there is a sauna in the hôtel but it’s only open from 6pm!! Til 11pm.
That means we cannot go at all in the morning which is silly. So i went there at 6 pm but i had to ask the front desk to turn it on but they forgot about me and at 7pm it was still not on. Very bad.
Love this hotel so much! It has the amenities we needed. Washing machine, dishwasher, kitchenette to cook. Clean and tidy. Room comes with smart tv and location is great! Walking distance to the Christmas market!

The Grand Hyatt Berlin is located about 5 minutes from the subway station (the subway station is the next stop from Berlin Central Station). The room service size is satisfactory in all aspects, and it is a very cost-effective option! There is a newly built shopping mall nearby, with a large supermarket, as well as a variety of food and coffee shops. The location is safer than Berlin Central Station. It is recommended for families or friends with safety concerns.

The front desk staff, both morning and evening, were welcoming and provided prompt and efficient assistance, which I appreciated. The room was nice. One slight annoyance, however, was that the breakfast staff deliberately failed to inquire about the beverage needs of Asian customers, even though we were clearly within their designated area and arrived at a convenient time, without causing any inconvenience to the staff. This isn't something I'd expect in such an international hotel.
This stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin was very disappointing and far from the standard that a five-star hotel should have.
First of all, although the hotel states on the official website that it is ”pet-friendly”, I also confirmed by email before booking that cats can be brought in, and I have seen other guests bring cats, but after our cat accidentally pooped on the bed, the female employee who came to deal with it was very indifferent and even said directly that ”cats are not allowed in the hotel.” This is completely inconsistent with the confirmation information we received before. Her tone and attitude made me feel accused and disrespectful. The male employee who came to clean later also showed strong impatience and disgust, and the whole process made us very uncomfortable. As a customer, we have tried our best to deal with the problem and proactively informed, but we got such a response, which is really unacceptable.
Secondly, there were serious problems in the service many times:
• We ordered food through the online system at night, and the system showed that the order was successful, but in the end no one delivered it. We stayed up late waiting for the meal, but we could only go to bed hungry, and no one notified us in advance that the order was cancelled or wrong.
• Once we called to ask for towels, and they promised to ”bring them right away”, but we actually had to wait for nearly 20 minutes. Although this doesn't sound like a long time, we had to stay in the room because of this, which delayed the rest of our trip and was very inconvenient.
• On the first day of our stay, there was an Easter-themed chocolate dessert in the room, but we didn't finish it at the time because it contained cream and was not suitable for self-disposal. As a result, the dessert was never cleaned up until we checked out. The trash can in the room was open, and even if we tried to throw it in, it would be easily touched by the cat. As a result, the cat actually ate the cream that had been there for a few days, causing diarrhea. This not only made us very worried about the cat's health, but also showed that the cleaning work was not in place.
In addition, the overall room environment and service process were not as expected. The experience was more like an ordinary hotel without systematic management, rather than a top international brand. The only thing worth affirming was the doorman team, who were always enthusiastic and polite, and were a rare highlight in the entire stay.
We chose Ritz-Carlton because of our trust in its brand, but this experience completely broke our expectations, and I am afraid we will not consider staying in this hotel in the future.
Best hotel choice for attending the Berlin Film Festival! Excellent location and convenient transportation. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff asked if we wanted a shower or a bathtub. And helped to call a taxi, very considerate service, the overall atmosphere is very good, will recommend it to other friends!
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is excellent – there’s a bus stop right outside, which made getting to all the main attractions incredibly convenient. It’s also just a 10–15 minute walk to a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped, with high-quality amenities from Byredo. As a member, I enjoyed some great perks like complimentary drinks and free late check-out until 2 PM, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
I highly recommend everyone to go. First of all, this is a chain hotel, and the basic quality can be guaranteed. Second, the hotel is only a few minutes away from the station. There is a shopping mall next to the station, and you can also go shopping.
This business trip was to go to the exhibition, because this hotel is the closest, so I chose their home, the first foreign hotel. The overall feeling is not bad, mainly close.

Great
GGuest UserThe service was great. Breakfast was brilliant. Rooms were large, but unfortunately a bit dirty in some places. Maybe it was forgotten. We would still come back because everything else was perfect. The location is also ideal.
IideldingThe location is fantastic, just about a 15-minute walk to Potsdamer Platz. The neighborhood appears to be primarily embassies, making it feel very safe. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the city's hustle and bustle, offering some of the best value for money in Berlin. The family suites are particularly well-suited for families traveling with children.
タタカタカ旅ブログHotel next to Berlin Zoo.
The room was very stylish, neat and clean.
The minibar was free and German beer was also placed!
And the best part is the Jungle Sauna on the upper floor.
Self-roasting is possible in the Finnish sauna.
Pour water on the stove and adjust it, and a hot sauna is ready!
There is a rest space next to the sauna where you can take a shy bath.
Sparkling water and German beer were also available.
Please note that the sauna is a mixed-gender bath and swimsuits are prohibited.
Bath towels are placed in the sauna, so you don't need to bring them from your room.
Bathrobes can be borrowed from reception.
Stylish hotel, great sauna, friendly staff, everything was great.
I will stay at this hotel again when I visit Berlin next time.
GGuest UserI have to complain about their service. On the first day of my stay, while waiting to check in, I was stung by a bee. The entire hotel lobby staff, from the manager to the service personnel, were completely indifferent; not a single person proactively asked if I needed help. When I asked the hotel's duty manager if there was any medication available, something astounding happened. The manager said they were sorry but couldn't provide any medication, and if I needed it, I'd have to buy it myself at a pharmacy (which I can understand, as medications should not be dispensed haphazardly). But here's the kicker: the manager then arrogantly said, 'This is a natural environment. Why didn't you wear your jacket...' At that moment, due to my non-native language skills and unfamiliarity with German National Day, I was speechless for 30 seconds. However, I immediately regained my composure and realized I had been treated unfairly, and this was blatant racial discrimination. This is a white manager who has worked at the hotel for 12 years; I believe he is experienced in handling such unexpected situations. Why did he specifically say such things to us, people with black hair? According to hotel staff, this person is usually very warm and thoughtful in their job. Why did he present such a cold and arrogant demeanor when dealing with us? Furthermore, the hotel has been shirking its responsibility in the subsequent handling of the issue. Ctrip staff have been actively following up for me, and I am very grateful! However, regarding this hotel's attitude, I will pursue my rights to the end, and I absolutely do not recommend anyone check in here.
GGuest UserCame here for the second time. The hotel is very good, and the German service is really great! The location is also very good, so close to the subway station, I highly recommend staying here! Anyway, I am very satisfied!
MMBarronGood hotel, reasonable, great location and attentive staff. Breakfast is very generous, so pay for that. room was small, but had a desk and full bathroom and double bed, what else could you ask for. View was a parking lot but it also meant that it was quiet. Hot water pressure and internet speed were both good. Bathroom showed its age a little, but was fine.
GGuest UserRoom was OK. Clean at first glance, but otherwise so-so (e.g. completely dusty under the bed, shower head very calcified, unpleasant smell from the bathroom).
Very small, you had hardly any room to move around and not in the bathroom anyway, so not suitable for tall people.
Overall, it was OK for the price. Definitely suitable for a party holiday in Berlin, less so for a couples holiday.
We didn't eat the food.
JJACK-YANG88The beauty at the front desk was very warm. I came to the room to tell you the specific situation. At the same time it rained, let us enter the room at 8 in the morning and tell me the attached mall hotel. The location is very close to the U2 station of the subway. It can be reached in 3 minutes by walking. The nearby Turkish barbecue is delicious. There are also many restaurants, there are two big supermarkets, and the price is cheap.
JJACK-YANG88There is a bar near the hotel, you can go to drink, about 10 minutes from the subway, there are a lot of places to eat nearby, there is an old front desk girl, feeling unfriendly, a little blinking feeling, another young woman front desk is very good, especially It is good in English and the attitude is very good. Large suitcases and other items can be stored free of charge.
