The hotel was great for a couple friends to explore Berlin as it’s right next to the underground system as well as in a local town of Berlin itself.

The hotel is tiny, dilapidated and expensive. They use bad market practices, they canceled my reservation via "booking", only to have me pay the entire amount by card after came on place. I choose option "pay on place" via booking. At the same time, they blocked 250 euros from my account and did not want to cancel the payment until I left the hotel, so I didn't have this money during all stay. Very bad and uncultural pratice. Hotel is managed by people from far east.

First of all, we booked this hotel for 3 nights. Unfortunately, we had the worst experience with this hotel that you can probably have with a hotel. First of all, our room was booked incorrectly, so instead of the spacious standard double room, we got the smaller economy double room. They deliberately call them double rooms because they apparently just pushed single beds together. Well, it can happen, we thought, and we went back to reception and asked if that was right, because the small room was more like a storage room with a bed and all the equipment that the booking partner had described was missing (we're talking about the little things like a trash can). In addition, instead of a bright room, it was a dark, cold room. You couldn't open the bathroom door if you had the chair opposite the dressing table with mirror one centimeter back. The employee at reception seemed at a loss and "had to make a phone call first" and we should wait in the room first. So we waited in the room for about 5 minutes, after which we heard the elevator door from the room and then the employee walking towards the room (unfortunately not soundproof as stated). He offered us a new room on the same floor and we were to follow him but this was the last room that was free. This room had the same problems as the old room, only this time it was more spacious and had 2 "double beds". We discussed it and were not at all satisfied and asked if we could just cancel because this was not what we booked. "Unfortunately there's nothing we can do", so it was a case of eat or die for us. So we went back to the room and started lifting the bed covers and what we then experienced was something I only knew from the worst episodes of "Hotel Nightmares" (see photos). We felt so sick that we didn't want to stay. We called the booking website to see if they could help us but unfortunately they couldn't do anything more than submit a complaint and request a cancellation. Back down at the reception, the guy at the reception rolled his eyes when he saw me because he probably wanted to be alone with his partner who was sitting next to me scrolling Instagram. I explained the situation to him and that we didn't want to and couldn't stay. Suddenly they had a room available on another floor. Incidentally, everything that could be arranged in any way only happened the next day. Both changing the beds and speaking to someone in charge, because nobody (neither the manager nor the second manager) was available at 6 p.m. We declined this and told him that there was a cancellation request in their emails. "It will be rejected anyway." We said goodbye and were asked to call the next day because the manager was there.

Excellent location never more than 30 minutes away from landmarks we came to see. Received a very warm welcome from Mirna who gave us good information about getting around Berlin. Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel is having refurbishments but was very in the background no noise at all.

We booked our first visit to Germany/Berlin,via Love Holidays (no blame on them atall), looking forwards to a nice anniversary break. Having travelled over 700 miles, from Scotland, we didn't exactly get a "warm welcome " , a grumpy guy, looking untidy- no uniform- he could have been anyone, tbh. Anyway, opened the door to the room, I could've cried, when I saw it! Dust on the floor, walls with patched plaster not even painted! Not even a double room, 2 tiny single beds, moved together! Linen looked clean, but good grief, there was a hole in the duvet, the pillows had stains. Mattresses uncomfortable. Noisy! Blo@dy drills and hammering begun at 8am! We went even pre-warned,about renovations. Breakfast was bog standard. Stsff unpleasant, wasny until the day we left. A lovely receptionist was on, its a shame she had to deal.wuth our complaints. We would visit Berlin again, loved it, but would Never stay here again!

We stayed in this hotel for 2 days. The room and bathroom were actually OK. There is also an elevator. However, one wall of the room had apparently been partially replastered without being repainted. Unfortunately, that didn't look very comfortable. There was no socket on the left bed, so the cell phone couldn't be plugged in to charge. The biggest negative point was the breakfast. This was served in the small room with the reception. There are several small round tables available for this. It would be very difficult to place the breakfast items on them. On the first day there were only two cups of coffee and light rolls that were not baked well; there were no grain rolls at all. On the second day there was enough coffee, but no rolls. In summary, we unfortunately had to conclude that it was the worst breakfast for us in many years.

A plastic bag containing some of our clothes disappeared from our room, but this is not the problem: making mistakes is human, they must have mistaken it for rubbish while they were cleaning. What was really absurd was the way the staff reacted when we pointed it out: giggling, teasing, no solution offered to fix it, in fact according to them it is acceptable to respond to customers "**** happens" or worse again "what can we do, it must have been some fetishist". Too bad, because apart from their terrible attitude, the accommodation was also decent, and the area very interesting and well connected.

The matrasses are really bad, one cannot sleep well. You sink in it = super cheap stuff. If you shower the whole (mini) bathroom is flooded. Really bad internet. The rooms at the upper floor are very hot although the outside temperature was chilly. No hand soap in the bathroom. Cleaning ladies came a few times in the morning, although we were still sleeping. Not even like some coffee or a small waterbottle in the room when you pay 100€ per night. Total rip off.

Small entrance on the street, I walked past it before I noticed it. Very nice inside, modern. As it was my birthday, I decided to treat myself to a better class of hotel than I’m used to. Room was nice and clean, bed was really comfortable, there was a room safe. The one complaint would be that the toilet was too near the sink so I had to sit on it at an angle and it was a bit stained. Lovely shower, everything else was good.
