Strongly recommend the room on the top floor, it's bright, neat, comfortable, and with a very nice view.
The location is great, it's easy to go everywhere.
The only thing not perfect is no staff after 19h, still, it's very early. And I didn't receive the check-in guide before. So it was not easy to find out how to check in after 19h.
Actually, the machine on the left outside the hotel is the auto check-in machine, even though it looks like an ATM. Guests should be informed before.

Really spacious room, very high end. However charging 15 eur per night for putting up a babybed is quite exaggerated. Should be for free as in many other hotels too.

- There is a parking lot, but you must make a reservation.

- There are many cases where service is not available because employees leave work.
There is no cleaning.
- I called because there was an emergency, but only German was available.
- In the evening, I had a hard time falling asleep because I could hear the music from the club next door all the way to my room.
- There is a kitchen, but you cannot use the fire. You can eat microwave food. Be sure to wash the dishes before use. They were very dirty.
In general, it was cheaper and more comfortable than other hotels, but I couldn't get help from the staff.
It was uncomfortable.
But the location and cleanliness are really good!

The Clipper Boarding House is in a great location in central Berlin, in easy walking distance of the Opera, the DDR Museum, Museum Island, the Brandenburg Gate etc. The apartments are spacious and the bathrooms are excellent. Some apartments look into an internal courtyard and are incredibly quiet even with the windows opened for fresh air. There's really not enough bench space in the kitchenette to do anything but make hot drinks, cook toast and heat food you've brought in from elsewhere. It's important to be aware that this is not a hotel and no staff are available after hours (but there is a telephone number if you have an issue that needs to be dealt with) Excellent value for money for the location and the level of comfort. Perfect for long stays.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel diverse volte negli ultimi anni, ma dopo l’ultima esperienza non tornerò mai più. Lo staff si è dimostrato sgarbato, poco collaborativo e totalmente privo di flessibilità. Avevo chiesto un late check-out di soli 30 minuti per una call di lavoro importante — richiesta del tutto ragionevole, considerando che l’hotel era praticamente vuoto — e mi è stato risposto con un secco rifiuto, senza alcuna cortesia né disponibilità. Un atteggiamento scortese e inspiegabile che ha rovinato completamente la mia esperienza. Peccato, perché in passato mi ero trovato bene. Ma dopo questo trattamento, non metterò più piede in questa struttura.

Convenient, clean friendly staff , you can eat out or self cater . We had a room with enclosed balcony and enjoyed reading and chilling in the space. Centrally located easy public transport. Many things to do
