Holiday Inn - the Niu, Hide Berlin Friedrichshain Reviews

I stayed here for 5 nights for the Berlin Marathon. I would have to say that overall I was very comfortable at this hotel. Yes it's a few kms away from the famous sights but the it's really easy just to jump onto the U5 line directly outside the hotel and it will bring you directly to the Brandenburg Gate in less than 10 minutes. The staff at the hotel were all kind, warm and friendlyl. Many spoke excellent English. The deco of the hotel had a cool vibe about it. Berlin is an amazing City that needs to be visited. The room is perfect for solo travellers and spotless clean. The only real negative comment I could make was no kettle in the rooms and the temperature of the shower needs to be a little higher. Other than that I really like this hotel and they run a good business.

Brand new and very clean. The problem is that the rooms are small, and Frankfurter Allée is a bit far from most tourist attractions. Still, it’s easy to get around with the S-Bahn and u-Bahn, and the hotel is next to a small mall with supermarkets, shops, and restaurants.

The check-in was realy smooth. It was hard to find the entrance to the hotel, but overall, it's manageable. Service is great. Looking forward to book this hotel again next time in Berlin!

The room was clean and nice. There were some card games in the room, which was unexpected. We booked the hotel because of the free bar drinks they offer if you don’t request for room make up. However, not sure if it was because the cleaning lady overlooked the sign we put up or what. Our room got tidied and there were no free bar drinks for us. Overall was pretty nice, would recommend!

The staff is nice, the room is a bit small but so clean and good designed. The hotel offers free drink if you no need the per day room cleaning.

Excellent choice in the east of Berlin. Outstanding connection to downtown and airport via S-Bahn and U-Bahn.

Easy to find right at the entrance of the shopping mall. Great tram and ubahn connection near by. Room is small but modern and very clean. Kind receptionists.

Clean room, friendly staff Only the entrance of the hotel is difficult to find. It is next to the entrance of the shopping mall. There are large supermarkets and various restaurants downstairs of the hotel. The hotel is located on the top floor of a shopping mall. The room is on the same floor as the reception desk. However, the room is far away from the reception desk and the elevator. It feels a bit far away when walking with suitcases. The hotel is not far from the S Bahn, about 8 minutes away, and the R Bahn about 3 minutes away. There are trams around and the transportation is convenient.

The interior is stylish. I was grateful to have tissues and a mirror. The staff was kind and I would like to use them again.
