There is no service shuttle bus to airport. Room is clean. They will charge you around 40€ for city tax or something. That was so expensive.

Great location, near to many fantastic restaurants at steinplatz. Staff are attentive and helpful with your luggages although the main entrance has steep stairs. Comfortable beds even for twin singles. Probably one of the best locations in Berlin if you need some peace, as it is on the quiet end of the shopping district.

My husband and I travelled with my parents to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a return to Berlin where they were married in June of 1964. We selected the Steinplatz because this elegant hotel was where they spent their wedding night those "few" years ago, and from the moment we set foot on the property our experience was exceptional! All of the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, beginning with my requests prior to our trip to assist in arranging a tour guide and restaurant reservations, and continuing during our stay to assist one of our party in printing our paperwork to apply for an emergency temporary passport when she left hers in our previous hotel in Austria. Lukas at the front desk went above and beyond in arranging a special visit to the church where my parents were married including access inside the church, which they had not been inside since their wedding day in 1964. He not only arranged for this special visit but accompanied us to the church after his shift was over! He is an extraordinary young man who made this special trip even more memorable. In addition to the front desk staff, the breakfast and set lunch at the restaurant were delicious and the location ideal. We will be sure to stay here when we return to Berlin with our children to share with them where it all began for grandma and grandpa!

Lovely hotel. Wonderful staff. Good value for money. Delicious breakfast. A nice neighborhood. I've stayed at the hotel for 8 years now - it's my go-to place in Berlin. The area also has nice shopping and good restaurants, and feels safe during the day and at night.
