The location was great but check-in was a nightmare. Shower without curtains making water it a big mess and when I asked for more shampoo, they told me to go to another hotel to pick it up.

Since I wanted a physical room card, I checked in at another Magic Hotel branch. Maybe the occupancy rate was not high, so I was directly upgraded to another Magic Hotel branch for free. The other branch had a bigger room, included breakfast and was closer to the tourist area, very happy with it and really appreciated the upgrade.

The self-service check-in system at this hotel is absolutely infuriating! You’re forced to download a specific app to check-in, but when I logged in with my iPhone, I couldn’t unlock the room! Luckily, I had an Android phone, which barely worked. Then, not long after, the app logged me out and wouldn’t let me back in with the original password! I contacted customer service, and they told me to walk 5 minutes to the service desk to get a physical key card—already frustrating enough—but when I asked what was wrong with the app, they just said, "I don't know." I ended up wasting over two hours of my time! This kind of service is completely unacceptable!

The hotel is in a great location, that's the only advantage. Self-service check-in is very inconvenient. Both Apple and Android phones can't open the door, so I called the hotel to give the room card. That's fine, but what's even more exaggerated is that there is a club upstairs. If you don't want to sleep at night, you are welcome to book this hotel.

Hygiene: Cleaned every day, towels and bedding are relatively clean
Environment: Downtown, some noise from the street at night is acceptable.
