What a pleasant surprise place to stay in. The staff was really friendly and helpful. It is great location for restaurants and shopping and close enough to the train station and the airport. My favourite part was the beautiful presentation of the breakfast. Grazie mile

Great location! Cute outdoor patio for a really nice breakfast. Nice and clean interiors. There’s a gym but we didn’t get to use it. 20 minutes walk to cita alta. Very friendly staff.

This hotel locates in a very convenient location, shops, restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean, and staffs are friendly and helpful. I also love their breakfast. If I ever go back to the area, definitely will stay there again.

It's easy to see why this hotel is #1 on TripAdvisor. Once we arrived, we met the wonderful staff member Rebecca, sorry Rebecca, no bad review lol. She provided detailed information on what to do, including taking bus #1 to Upper Bergamo. We had a rental, and the hotel provides a valet service for 20 Euro per day. Rooms are in great condition. Breakfast is wonderful and you can have eggs made to order, all the staff members here were very kind and helpful. Plenty of Restaurants in Lower Bergamo to choose from. We had a great time in Bergamo and the hospitality at Petronilla Hotel was a welcoming choice. Travelers, you won't be disappointed here.

Prima volta a Bergamo. Veniamo accolti dalla simpatica Rebecca che si è prodigata con diligente professionalità nel fornirci tutte le indicazioni turistiche necessarie per il nostro soggiorno. Noi le abbiamo seguite per intero e così il risultato finale è stato veramente piacevole, oltre ogni aspettativa. L'albergo è situato in una posizione strategica per visitare sia Bergamo bassa che Bergamo alta. Le camere tutte ristrutturate con gusto ed eleganza. Il bagno funzionale e moderno. La colazione sia dolce che salata viene servita in un grazioso cortile interno. Complimenti.

A small boutique hotel, well located in Bergamo City. First impressions mean a great deal, and the professional yet friendly and welcoming reception we received on arrival set a high bar which was maintained throughout our stay. Every member of staff operated at the highest level of customer service, and always went the extra mile to ensure that the experience was top class, whether that was providing recommendations, assisting with travel or just simply making the stay memorable. Our room was big and well presented, with a modern walk in shower, and really comfortable bed. breakfast was always a feast for the eyes with fruit, meats, cheeses, breads, yoghurt etc, and hot food on request. I opted for an omelette every morning and it was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was available in the main dining area or could be taken outside in the courtyard. We have stayed in many hotels, but have never been treated so well. Hotel Petronilla has set a very high bar for the rest to follow. A real credit to the City of Bergamo and the tourist industry of the region.

Excellent hôtel proche de bars et restaurants en centre-ville. Personnel très agréable et bienveillant, toujours aux petits soins pour vous . Petit déjeuner dans une cours au calme. Prévoir des visites extérieures à la ville est très simple.

We had an outstanding experience. This small boutique family owned hotel has the most compelling attribute: superb staff. They are welcoming, warm, knowledgeable, and more than competent. They made us feel like special guests. Our room was lovely, nicely designed, lots of natural light, crisp sheets with a quilt that was not too hot. Two other attributes: central location and delicious breakfast. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
