Auch dieses Mal haben wir uns im Lanka Princess wieder sehr wohl gefühlt und hervorragend erholt. Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und versucht stets, den Gästen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen – und das, obwohl ihr eigenes Leben außerhalb des Hotels nicht zuletzt durch die enorm gestiegenen Preise in allen Bereichen, speziell auch bei Lebensmitteln, ihnen tagtäglich sehr viel abverlangt. Umso bewundernswerter ist es, mit welcher Herzlichkeit sie die Gäste umsorgen. Das Lanka Princess ist auf Ayurveda-Kuren ausgerichtet und m.E. die beste Adresse in Sri Lanka, um eine sehr angenehme Ayurveda-Kur zu machen. Ich würde sie beschreiben als ursprüngliches Ayurveda mit etwas Wellness - wer sehr strenges Ayurveda sucht mit ausschließlich ayurvedischem Essen, sehr einfachen Zimmern ohne Klimaanlage usw. dem wird das Lanka Princess eventuell zu luxuriös erscheinen. Die Ärzte sowie das gesamte Ayurveda-Team legen großen Wert auf die bestmögliche Umsetzung der Behandlungs- und Ernährungspläne – ohne dabei dogmatisch zu sein. Wenn jemand Heißhunger z.B. auf ein Steak hat, so kann er dieses auch genießen (es gibt übrigens 2 Restaurants: ein ayurvedisches und eines mit westlichen Speisen – man kann auch Speisen aus beiden Restaurant“welten“ mischen, was das Essen besonders abwechslungsreich macht). Das Personal im Lanka Princess versteht und spricht teilweise auch deutsch, sonst englisch. Für die Konsultationen bei den Ärzten und alle Fragen, die man eventuell hat, gibt es Felicita – eine sehr freundliche junge Dolmetscherin, die nicht nur singhalesisch, englisch und perfekt deutsch spricht, sondern auch medizinische und ayurvedischen Fachbegriffe und Zusammenhänge kennt, so dass sie nicht nur als Dolmetscherin fungiert, sondern schon fast als Assistentin für die Ärzte. Fazit: wir freuen uns schon auf die nächste Ayurveda-Kur im Lanka Princess!

You rarely encounter such friendliness and helpfulness as you would expect at the Lanka Princess Resort. It`s a paradise with a family atmosphere. The culinary delights and Ayurveda treatments are made possible by competent, empathetic, healing staff and therapists. The language skills provided by Felicia, the interpreter, during medical consultations are excellent. This makes a dosha-appropriate therapy plan possible. In addition to the treatments, short visits to the surrounding area are also possible. This allows you to explore and experience the wonderful treasures of the "Pearl of the Indian Ocean". A huge thank you to the entire team for all the fantastic experiences!

Ich reise nun schon seit über 10 Jahren in das Hotel und bin immer wieder über den Service und die Freundlichkeit des Personals begeistert :-) An der Rezeption im Restaurant, an der Ayurveda Rezeption oder im Beauty Salon - alle in diesem Hotel versuchen den Aufenthalt so entspannt wie möglich zu gestalten. Allerdings ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen und eine Renovierung würde sicherlich an der einen oder anderen Stellen nicht schaden, gerade wenn die Preise weiter steigen. Ansonsten kann ich das Hotel inklusive Kur nur empfehlen, gerade für deutschsprachige Touristen, da eben auch "deutsch" gesprochen wird, wenn man möchte :-)

The location is great, my room was spacious and well equipped, the food is plentiful and delicious and all the staff are happy, friendly and totally adorable!!
If you're staying over Christmas/New Year, the extra effort with decorations and evening schedules is really lovely - the best I've experienced.
Thank you very much Lanka Princess, I had a brilliant stay. Without hesitation, I would stay here again :-) xxx

Wir hatten 2 wundervolle Wochen inklusive Panchakarma Kur und fühlen uns wie neugeboren. Alle sind extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, das Essen köstlich und das ganze Ambiente sehr authentisch. Absolut empfehlenswert!!
