Great little hotel. Right on the beach. Staff are very friendly, rooms are clean, and nice. Plenty of bars , and restaurants near by. I would definitely stay here again.

Recently returned after our fifth stay in Hotel La Cala and I can safely say will be visiting again. For people who are looking to visit for the first time this is a small very friendly hotel right on the beach. Breakfast is continental but very adequate, served by Selvita (sorry if wrong spelling) who made sure you had as much as you wanted. The rooms were kept spotless, cleaned every day by very hard working and friendly staff. Air conditioned, large walk in shower, safety deposit box (used to pay) now free, small fridge (memo to management, please install larger fridges) think of old mini bar size. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, The Strat restaurant attached to hotel is very good ( will do a separate review for the Strat). For those looking for authentic Indian food go to Sunset Beach Point ( not on tripadvisor) it's between the supermarket and the Chinese Restaurant about 150 yards from the hotel. Finally a big thank you to reception for allocating the "best room in the hotel" for our stay.

We have just returned from our 1st time in Hotel La Cala, I can honestly say it's been one of the best holidays I've had, the hotel was lovely with amazing views from our balcony, we stayed in room 102 so had side and front views of the beach and sea, this hotel is a 💎, the hotel was spotless clean and our room comfortable. The staff very helpful and friendly. The continental Breakfast every morning was great, served by the beautiful Selvita, shes an asset to the hotel, will definitely be returning

Avoid booking an interior room a window ( small) that looks out to maybe the lift im not sure ? We felt like it was a 3 night stay in a prison cell, no natural light whatsoever if we didn't put the lights on we were literally in the dark, 1 pillow each no small hand towels, no variety for breakfast , lovely roof terrace but no sunbed umbrellas so it made it unbearable to lie up there, would I stay again NO

We stayed at this hotel in march and loved it so much we are staying again in September. Lovely clean rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast was great we did not want fry up. If you want a fry up just go round the corner. Great location breakfast staff is lovely. She just want to feed you and so friendly

Me & my husband stayed at this hotel june 11th for 4 nights.Perfect for a little break . Breakfast was fine ,cossiants pastrys meats & yoghurts ,fruit juice tea & coffee toast .served by a very pleasant young lady . There is a restaurant but we never ate there .Hotel is straight infront of the beach .we loved the area ,nice restaurants about .very clean & rooms are too..Staff helpful & rang for us taxis twice down to old town 12 -15 euros each way . Thankyou for a very enjoyable stay .
