Great location, friendly staff and very clean hotel

A lovely long weekend !! The staff were really friendly and professional. The room was spotless and comfortable. Check in/out was easy. We enjoyed half board and the food was excellent, with a large variety to suit all tastes. We also opted for the drinks package with our evening meal for €2.5 each. It was really good value. Some wait for lifts, but not too bad. We will definitely stay again.

Just got back for 4 days here. Upon arrival checking in was very quick and efficient. We were checked in and in the room in less than 10 minutes of arriving. However the guy working could have been a little bit more engaging and look like he actually wanted to be there. The food was incredible, breakfast was the best out of the 3. The only issue is that the staff were rude, and we weren’t the only people to think is because on our third day at breakfast we were given a survey to fill out about the staff. On the second day we arrived at dining hall to be greeted by the host stood talking to another member of staff. We waited at the desk so he could cross our name off. He didn’t look at us, or give us any indication that he’d noticed us. So I said excuse me and he just blanked me. After a further 4 minutes of waiting me and my friend entered the restaurant, as we knew we were full board and we’d eaten at lunch before. The waiting who was hosting then ran through the restaurant shouting at me in front of everyone in the room, they all fell silent and watched has he continued full on yelled at me “YOU MUST SEE ME AND GIVE ME YOUR ROOM NUMBER BEFORE YOU ENTER” at the top of his voice. I never felt more embarrassed in my life. Staff should not be shouting at guests. And if he really wanted us to check in with him, he should have done it while we were stood waiting for 5 minutes while he was having a gossip with his colleagues. A second incident was with the housekeeper. Me and my friend decided to have a day at the hotel. I was led on the bed and my friend was in the shower when the housekeeper decided to enter our room. We did not have the door hanging on to say clean the room. She just entered. So I rushed to the door when I said not today thank you. She then said “I clean anyway” and pushed me out her way. So I said no. To which she moved back to the door. She then said “do you want clean towels” I said no. She then proceeded to open the bathroom door (while my friend is in the shower) saying “I change them anyway” I then had to stop her from opening the bathroom door and get her to leave us alone. When we put the door hanger on the door hanger on the door to say “clean the room” they never changed the bed sheets. On checkout the receptionist didn’t ask us about our stay. He just snatched the room keys off me and walked off. The hotel its self is lovely. But if you want anything to do with the staff then the hotel is not for you.

Stayed on a really cheap deal .. Location is good for everything on offer Food ok, breakfast was the best did struggle a few days with the lunch. In hindsight we should have eaten out more in old town .tapas alley was great ! Lifts are awful considering most of the hotel have mobility issues did feel sorry for many of the guests Check in is a absolute shambles it's never taken 3 hours to check in ...anywhere This was due to a shouty English receptions Instructing was to go for a walk , she just wanted to disperse the crowd! Rooms were ready in some cases as we saw guests head for the lifts ( good luck with that ) Anyway once you got through the chaos it wasn't so bad . The entertainment was quite fun , drinks were reasonable. I wouldn't return due to first impressions. Better hotels available..

What a shambles !! 3 hours to check in .. baffled as to why the hotel doesn't allocate more staff. Joined a queue , that is fine .after a 30min wait then told by a English shouty receptionist Sharon Bailey to go for a walk as rooms were not ready anyway . Some rooms were ready because I witnessed guests taking suitcases to the lifts , so that was my risk to take, So after doing what I was asked to do , I returned after a hour to stand in a even larger queue!!! Not the best start Hotel is what I expected for the price I paid Obviously not luxury. Hold your ground and stay in the queue because when you get your room number you get WiFi code , which I needed for work purposes. You can pay 5 euros per day to upgrade to 3 drinks per lunch and evening meal , good value , Shame the check in was terrible because when you eventually gain entry it's not too bad !!
