Ambassador Playa II

Went to ambassador playa 2 on 28th June to 8th July 2025 full board with jet 2. Not been to the ambassador since before it got the re furnishments usually go to hotel presidente. And can I say what a difference well done its looks great, amazing room well decorated, beds were very comfortable glass balcony edges look great and good size, we were pool view left of western bar but with doors close there was not much noise at night so soundproof is great, shower you could fit 4 people in there. cleaners were there everyday cleaned room well and very polite all worked hard, aircon was great as it was 31 at night easy to use but you do think its not on as it so quite. Tea and coffee making facilities good we didn't buy the full 10 days coffee and tea supplies like you can we just took our favourite tea and coffee with us. reception were very polite and helpful, all bar staff in all bars and there are a few attached to the hotel were polite helpful the explorers bar was great, prices were reasonable great groups not the cheep ones other hotels use. and because when we were there it was heatwave time 37 through day and night, aircon was a godsend in explorers bar. pool area was ideal 2 pools we always go a sunbed even in afternoon, okay you still got some putting towels on beds early i don't blame the ones with kids they need to be close to pool for kids i did it when mine were young. pool temperatures were just right I find hotel presidente pools very cold but ambassador pools are just right, staff round pool very helpful pool bar staff work hard. the night-time entertainment is good all top acts that do the rounds in Benidorm. just don't like the traditional parrot shows sorry signs of animal cruelty to me just to get 20 euros a picture at the end of the act please ambassador don't use them. There are loads of seats around stage to accommodate. We did full board even though we hardly went in for lunch it was there if we wanted it. a snack at pool bar was good enough and there wasn't much difference between half and full board. The food I will say I have been to most hotels in Benidorm but the food was amazing it tasted great loads of choice. okay like most hotels if you go in really late they limit the amount they put out but that's just to limit waste but still plenty to eat, the restaurant staff were hard working and kept it all topped up cleared plates fast even at a very busy July season well done to you all. not much to say about around and about as its Benidorm something out there for every age. and as with everywhere in Europe and the UK beware of pickpockets, scams. and the pea man lol but in all the 25 year coming to Benidorm never seen any, Did loose 20 euros to the pea man but that was 20 years ago. overall we enjoyed the ambassador playa and thanks to you all for a great relaxing stay and worth every penny.
