Magic Natura, Benidorm - an honest review. 2 Adults and a child 22nd to 29th July 2025 inclusive Basic all inclusive with Tui Polynesian Supreme Standard 2 bedrooms Before you get there - Book a fast track through security at the airport if possible, the lines were immense but we sailed through fast track and were able to go for breakfast with loads of time, so relaxing! When you arrive - You enter the resort at reception, don’t bother to check in on line, we did and still had to do it again when we got there, we arrived at around 12.30 (their time) and the rooms were not available, we knew this was going to be possible due to check in time being after 5pm so we had packed swimwear in our hand luggage and changed in the reception toilets when we arrived. Our bags were stored in the secure room We were given our AI bands and they worked immediately so we went across the road to the small pool and bar, had a couple of drinks and our child went in the pool. It was literally under an hour until we got the call that our room was ready and the guys in the storage room bought out our bags, loaded them onto a buggy and took them and us to our room. The first look at our room was disappointing as we expected a ‘terrace’ and all we got was a 10 foot square decking area with boards that were in desperate need of replacement, 2 chairs and a table. The overgrown foliage really took up a lot of space and so we had very little room. The room itself was ok, if you are told, or you think, that the fridge will be stocked, they are not, maybe if you have UAI but not AI, plenty of toiletries, the shower was hot and powerful, the beds were very comfortable, memory foam mattresses. Plenty of drawer and wardrobe space and the childs room was good too. Nice having 2 separate bathrooms. Air con was on all week and the rooms were pleasantly cool, absolutely no complaints.The cleaners/chalet maids were amazing! The room was cleaned daily, the beds made and the room smelt incredible. Our maid, Maria, even thanked us for being tidy! Food, OMG its was great, we have a very picky child but he never went hungry, there were always chips available, chicken nuggets, pizza, sausage etc. Breakfast full English, even black pudding and fried bread! My only complaint was that the beans were always cold! Suddenly I realised, after I got home (lol), that I could have put them in the microwave provided. Tea, coffee, beer, wine, juices all included… if you didnt want the full fry up there was a large selection of pastries and cheeses etc. Dont worry about sauces, mayo etc it is all provided. Lunch - burgers, chips, hot dogs.. Dinner - childrens section if wanted, soups, roasts, curry, salads, there was something for every one. The food was mainly hot and fresh, if the food looks a bit low, wait five minutes and they refill, people who have complained must have no patience. There is a big urn of sangria at the beginning of the buffet, it's delicious! The chocolate fountain is great,

I think the resort could help themselves by sorting out the check in process and reception area - it’s a kiosk without even a reception sign. We were not given info on drinks vouchers , WiFi (which strangely you have to get regular print outs of new codes to use), pool towels and beds are available to get / book via the desk by the pool - other guests told us this. The canteen on both sides is tired and the one to the left does have an unpleasant smell to it. The lodge we stayed at was tired but clean and house keeping did a great job. I think they just need to advertise it correctly so we know what we’re getting for our money - we paid extra to stay over looking the elephants - our lodge overlooked the main pool 🤣 the elephants were off to the right but the lush gardens all around are so overgrown we didn’t realise until a day or 2 after. We stayed one week and the kids loved the zoo and waterpark. None of us got ill but the hotel have to sort out the toilets around the hotel - there was never any hand wash in the woman’s bathrooms! The restaurant to the right (uti all in) didn’t have any hand wash the last 2 days - the zoo looks were the same - I had a 2 year old with me so after nappy changes it’s gross not being able to scrub your hands! That will spread sickness quick if you don’t get that sorted. No phones in the rooms to call reception but we’re all active and enjoyed the walks around the resort and loved being near the aviary - there’s a sloth in there too! Overall it’s a good place to take kids but expensive, unlimited access to the zoo and waterpark is the main perk to this choice of stay. The ‘gym’ is not a gym - it’s a small room near the pool with a broken treadmill, weights machine - also broken and an exercise bike.

This resort is far from a 4 star resort. We arrived at 3pm and told our room was ready. We took the buggy and luggage to the room to find that the room wasn't ready at all. We were then taken back down to reception and were told we can get some lunch instead. When we finally got to the room which is a 3 bedroom lodge we were shocked by the size. Barely any room to move or place 5 suitcases in. The bathrooms are outdated and in desperate need of renovation. The shower doors do not close properly allowing water to leak out. The sinks do not drain leading to flooding and our toilet did not flush! We were also worried about the fan in terms of safety - when this concern was raised, we were told this is normal. We booked through Jet2 as we know they had representatives at the resort..not that it makes a difference. We lodged our complaints just to be told that it can be fixed and we are staying in the outdated part of the hotel. We are paying the same as all the other guests, so we expect the same level of accommodation. So on returning to the room after 'fixing' the room, we had a terrible sewage smell in the room after showering. The smell was beyond bearable, to the point where we had to sit outside. At the end of the day we haven't come here to complain and unfortunately we have had to spend time out of our holiday to lodge these concerns. I would recommend staying in a better hotel and paying for access to the zoo and water park. Despite this being our second time here we have been majorly disappointed with this visit and will not be returning again.

clean rooms, lovely staff, always plenty to do around the site, waterpark is inclusive for all ages and the zoo is lovely to walk around with plenty to see
