Hotel Cimbel

This was our second visit to this hotel and again we were not disappointed, this time we had a pool room on the 1st floor room 103 the room itself needs a little attention mainly to the flooring it is laminate and it has started to part so it makes it look tired, but apart from that issue the room was lovely and the bathroom superb, the little extras were rituals products and that included sun cream, mini bar re stocked daily, room was cleaned daily and to a high standard, but the best part was the large balcony with two sun beds and umbrella plus a table with two chairs, and the the heated plunge pool was again superb, the hotel has lovely friendly staff and is super clean, never hassle getting a sun bed or at least a sofa and chair and a lovely size heated main pool

Smart modern hotel with one of the best locations in Benidorm ..right on the seafront of Levante beaches. Very friendly staff . The buffet food was good and main meals differed day to day. There was also a cooking station providing freaky cooked eggs etc for breakfast and grilled fish and meat to order for dinner. There were several coffee making machines and toasters at breakfast so no long queues. In April the evening entertainment was limited to Fri and Sat nights with quality Spanish duos playing a variety of popular songs in English and Spanish. Although not promoted as an adult only hotel , it is clearly geared to adults with no specific kids entertainment or facilities. While I was there I only saw one family group that included well-behaved older kids so not disruptive like they are in "family" based hotels. The hotel is premium priced as befits its location and that probably amounts for fewer families as the majority of the guests were mature couples. I had a double room with decent size balcony at the front of the hotel with fantastic sea view. The bathroom was a good size with walk in shower. The room had a mini fridge and safe for valuables. Also the room had free WiFi. There was a small wall mounted TV which I didn't bother to watch ...but on skipping through there didn't seem to be many English language channels ..but it could be that I didnt use it properly as I don't watch much TV and I could access stuff I do watch on my phone. I would defined book there again.

Beautiful hotel. Great location. We only had breakfast but it was really nice and one of the best we’ve had ……. Great selection. Spotlessly clean and rooms made every day. Pool is lovely and plenty of beds …….. just don’t leave towels if you go out as they’ll remove them. Would definitely return.

bsolutely brilliant hotel ! Stayed for 3 nights over the end of May bank holiday . The staff are lovely . The rooms ( sea view ) we’re perfect , when booked I was desperate to get a room with its own swim up pool but they didn’t have any available and we were 2 floors above and I’m so pleased now k didn’t get one , never saw one person in them the whole holiday they were like fish bowls and looked freezing . Our room was perfect ! We did bed and breakfast and the breakfast was brilliant they had absolutely everything you could imagine . The pool was small but never felt it and the beach fronted location was 10/10 . My only niggle was the pool bar staff were sooooo slow it took ages to get a drink but you know what good on them for not running around like headless chicks they were so relaxed ! Would 100% stay here again

The best thing about this hotel is its location. Fabulous views in the sea and set between old and new towns. We booked a sea view room which was great but a family member had an ‘City view’ room which he described as ‘like a prison cell’, tiny and only one small window up very high. He requested to change but unfortunately the hotel was full. Don’t book these rooms. Our only complaint was the bars. Service was appalling. Constant queues as staff are just so slow and there are not enough of them and they clearly hate their job. We tended to go out because of this, The subbed rule I thought was great, nothing worse than subbed hoggers laying towels down, then disappearing for half the day. The lady at breakfast was the only exception. Outstanding at her job, friendly, professional, remembered all of our names. Wonderful asset to the hotel.
