Very, very nice stay, the room is super big and has everything you need. The self check-in was also uncomplicated and you could get a free beer from the fridge. You didn't notice anything at all from the bar underneath the hotel, so for us it was a 10/10

Worst thing: NOBODY can figure out how their self check in works.
The booking number and Pin they sent to me was completely useless!!! I spent almost 30mins and called the stuff, he gave a different Pin but still doesn’t work, when I called again, I think he refused, words fail me… At last a kind lady came and find something in her iPad and solve the problem, but anyway it made me feel terrible!!!
Other thing: The hotel is right above a noisy bar, where played the loud music all night till midnights, I came back to hotel to have a rest but no one could find peace under that noisy music, even the wall was shaking sometimes, terrible night!!!
Price is ok, cleanness not that good but still could accept, but other things listed above, I will never come back again!

Values for money but not worth it when you can’t get a good nights sleeps at all. Was very disappointed. Considering I was up the whole night and only stayed for one night.

We are in a quad room. One window won’t open. It’s extremely loud which I read it would be but it’s waaaayyyyy louder than expected. It’s so expensive and there is no one even here to help with the little things (ask the bar). The bathroom is really nice though and the beds are comfy.

For easy access to the City centre or for enjoying the lively pubs and restaurants of Botanic Avenue, The 1852 Hotel is the perfect choice. Friendly staff, good rooms and great value.

10/10 recommend. The room was spotless, and the bathroom incredibly clean and felt new. Check in was very easy. Great location right next to the train station. Good quality bed, sheets, towels, curtains. Room had everything you would need. I had a special request when booking, on a same day booking, and it was there in my room when I arrived. Will definitely be back.
