This hotel reflects the current problems in the UK in every aspect:
1. Check-in deposit problem. I have been traveling in the UK for more than a month and have stayed in no less than ten hotels. The first one I encountered charged a deposit of 50 pounds per night and had to pay it all at once. There were problems with bank payment. There were multiple deposit deduction errors and impatience with guests. We communicated with the hotel for three days. Thank you Ctrip for being the middleman to help us communicate, but the hotel refused to apologize without a solution. It was disappointing.
2. Unfriendly attitude towards children. The child was very upset on the first day of breakfast. Because the breakfast fee was not clearly charged, the children had to stand outside and pay on the spot before they could eat, which was ridiculous (among all the hotels in the UK, this was the only one that asked the children to pay on the spot and treated them very unfriendly)
3. Hygiene and facilities: The cups in the restaurant were never cleaned and were stained. The hotel provided paper towels and each room could only take one box per day. All the shampoo and shower gel bottles were not checked after cleaning. They were always empty. In the early morning of the second to last day, there was a fire alarm, which made all the guests stand outside for two hours at 4 am in a temperature of only 10 degrees without any service or compensation!
As one of the best hotels in the city center of Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, the experience is simply zero! Please avoid it!

We had an extremely terrifying experience at this Hilton hotel: At 2:30 a.m., someone violently knocked on our door. The knocking was so intense that it kept us awake all night. What was even more infuriating was the hotel's handling of the situation. We immediately called the hotel's front desk, but the call wasn't answered right away. We had no choice but to call 999 first, and then we managed to get through to the front desk. They said they would go up to verify the situation, but after the verification, the hotel didn't contact us to explain the situation. It wasn't until we called the front desk for the second time that we were told "the situation has been verified." Throughout the process, no manager came forward to apologize or explain. The next morning, the front desk refused our reasonable request to view the surveillance footage and took no measures against the person involved (who was still staying on the same floor and very close to us, making us too scared to leave our room).
Demands:
1. Request a formal apology from the hotel headquarters.
2. Refund the room charge for that night.
3. Compensate for mental distress.
