Jianguo Hotel Hotels in Beijing

We recently enjoyed a wonderful trip to Beijing, staying at the Beijing Xinqiao Hotel. This hotel boasts an unbeatable location, making exploring the city by bus, metro, or taxi incredibly convenient. Upon entering, the lobby impresses with its brightness and spaciousness, providing a warm welcome. The check-in process was quick and hassle-free, with no deposit required, which is a fantastic perk. Our room was located in Block B. While it was just as expected, the cleanliness of the carpets caught my eye, adding to the overall comfort. One thing to note is that during the winter, the air conditioning only provides heating, with no option for cooling. If you prefer a cooler atmosphere like I do, it would be a significant improvement if they offered individual temperature controls. Though the room lighting was dim and the bathrooms felt compact, I was pleasantly surprised that the hot water was sourced from a hot spring. If that's accurate, it truly enhances the experience! The water pressure and temperature were excellent. The beds provided a refreshing night's sleep, and waking up each morning felt delightful. One minor drawback was the thinness of the walls, which meant that sounds from neighboring rooms could sometimes be heard. Despite these minor issues, I had an incredible stay, and I highly recommend the Beijing Xinqiao Hotel for a memorable experience in the city.

This hotel is devised into 2 buildings, I ended up in a part called Villas . The staff there was very nice , feel like a little family hotel . You have to walk a few 100 meters to get there from the main hotel . If you have much luggage or some disability regarding walking this is not the place . No elevator and I stayed on the second level , but I like walking and to have some exercise so for me it was ok . Room is very small but the rate is also small .

Is very old, not to clean. Rooms are dark. Definitely needs renovation. I booked a room showing balcony in the picture, they did give me a room with balcony but not accessible. 😂. After complaining, they moved us to another room next day. Not recommended

Is a genuine 4 star hotel with the restaurants, souvenir, coffee shops and gym that provides little extra amenities and services. Stayed in 'single occupancy' room. An 'old school' type hotel lacking the modern smart tech but has all the sockets and lighting controls where you need them Has double bed (very comfortable), bath/shower, refrigerator, umbrella, clothing and shoe storage chests and compartments, and many furnishings of high quality such as two comfortable chairs and solid coffee table, luggage tray, bedside platforms and the large TV unit all made of mahogany timber. Good carpets throughout the room and elegant hallways. Has a Beijing Opera Theatre on site and was fortunate enough to stay during ***** New Year of the Dragon festival. The crew from the Theatre gave a free Dragon dance performance in the reception/ foyer. Only 400m from line 7 metro and southern entrance to Hutong area of Qianmen. Ate a set meal for 2 peopke at restaurant (140 quai)- very good. An enjoyable time in the northern capital was made better by staying at this hotel. Recommend.

I used a connecting room. It was convenient for a family of four to use as there were two bathrooms. The bed was pretty comfortable and nice too. It was close to Line 5 station, so it was easy to get to the Great Wall of China by zan bus. The facilities were a bit old, but it was okay to stay. The shower facilities, including water pressure and amenities, were good.

This hotel was in a good location for getting the metro to most attractions but not a lot of food options close by. The rooms were of an average size but the view from our room over Beijing was very good. The reception staff were helpful.

The hotel environment is good, the location is excellent, the front desk clerk Xiaodi is considerate and enthusiastic, the room cleaning is timely and efficient, the staff are very dedicated, looking for guests, a very satisfactory stay experience

1. The location of the hotel is very good. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the subway station. It is also very convenient to take a taxi. It only takes 3 stops to Tiananmen Square by subway. 2. The hotel is very quiet as a whole. It is located in the city center, but it feels a bit like a paradise. It may be that there are not many guests because the room types are large and the number of rooms is small. 3. The overall facilities are aging. The elevator buttons have fallen off. The faucets and sockets in the room are not very good. The refrigerator door can't be closed. The door of the room was broken once. The whole family returned to the hotel and waited in the corridor for half an hour. Afterwards, there was no verbal apology or anything. 4. The hot spring was broken. Ctrip called a few days in advance to inform us that the hotel would compensate us with some fruits, but I stayed for three days and didn't see any fruit until I checked out. I didn't ask. Who hasn't eaten fruit? 5. You need to call the front desk to get toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, etc., but they will respond to your requests, which is good. 6. Check-out can be delayed until 14:00. Even if Ctrip does not provide this service, as long as you tell the front desk, the hotel will agree. This is good. 7. To be frank, this hotel has both advantages and disadvantages. The price of a deluxe family room is 1,000 per night, which is not cheap, but not too outrageous, after all, the location is here. In terms of service, to be honest, it is generally good. In Beijing, no one ignored us, which exceeded my expectations. I can't ask for too much, after all, Beijing is not famous for its good service attitude. It is good enough to achieve this level. If I have the opportunity to come to Beijing again, I will stay here again. I hope this hotel will still be there by then.

I have stayed in the hotel many times and I like it more and more. Reason - It is a Sino-foreign joint venture business conference hotel, located at No. 8 Xinzhongxi Street, Gongti North Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing, close to the embassy area and Gongti, with convenient transportation. - It has various room types to meet the needs of different guests. The guest rooms are equipped with safes, small refrigerators, etc. The guest room TV can receive multiple channels and is equipped with an internet interface. - There are rich dining options, including Jinjiang Mansion Restaurant, which serves Shanghai cuisine; the Old Dock Restaurant specializes in Chaozhou Cantonese cuisine. It is the only indoor water restaurant in Beijing. It was designed by Hai Yan and has a unique environment with a Jiangnan water town style.

The environment is warm, the facilities are complete, the transportation is convenient, the surrounding shopping is convenient, the front desk service is enthusiastic, and the room is spacious and clean. The small gift given by the front desk is great. [Strong][Strong][Strong]
