The room is very cozy, with basic daily necessities, clean, tidy and quiet. The management team is attentive and enthusiastic. You can also cook your own meals. The location is very comfortable, and there is an outdoor balcony where you can see the beautiful scenery of the mountains on all sides.

The Resort was a very food decision for our two day Trip to Gubei. Just make sure that you stay at the right place, the Resort seems to have at least two locations. We stayed at the one closer to the scenic spots, we could walk to the Water town and the Great Wall Ticket office without any problems.
The room was very big and they arranged for an early check-in for us, which was lovely. There are restaurants nearby and two supermarkets (Lawsons), the hotel itself only provides breakfast that you have to book seperatly. The only problem was, that our heater in the bathroom didn't work for some reason, but as we only stayed one night that was managable. The hot water in the shower worked, which was much more important. All in all, lovely location, lovely service - would recommend.
