Beijing Huanghuacheng Lakeside Great Wall Guanshan Homestay

The location is very good and the view very nice. The owner is very helpful.

Just 3 minutes from the Great Wall Gate, this Guest House has a wonderful view and a terrace with views to the wall, comfortable chairs and tables to enjoy our time here. It’s simple but it’s enough for one or 2 nights. They give the best they have. Just one note: there are no breakfast available at the property. And the restaurant open late. Better bring some things from Beijing maybe. If you are deciding where to see the Great Wall, don’t hesitate to come to this section. It’s absolutely stunning with the lake views, bridges and all the mountains surrounding. If you want to come in public transports here are my notes: Right directions to Huanghuacheng Lakeside Great Wall - 1) in Beijing go to the Dongzhimen Public Transport Hub (by subway), and take the bus 942 to Shan Li Zhuang. It’s about 1h30 - 2yuan. 2) In the same stop, Shan Li Zhuang, take the bus H21 to Xishuiyu. It’s about 1h30 and 3,5 yuan. You will be dropped few meters from the Great Wall main entrance. If you are coming or going to the airport it’s easy because the Subway Airport Express departed and arrives exactly at Dongzhimen subway station 😉 The Great Wall is one of the wonders of the world and it’s a visit that I will never forget.
