I picked this place blindly for easy access to the Great Wall, and was pleasantly surprised. It's a high-quality B&B with delicious food, much better than I expected. Sansa Hotel features a Japanese-style ambiance and is very quiet (there aren't even TVs in the rooms), perfect for those who prefer to avoid being disturbed. Most of the public areas are located in the adjacent Wachang Hotel, making it a much busier option. There's only one Vietnamese restaurant in Sansa, so breakfast is served at the Wachang Hotel. However, the proximity of the two hotels makes it quite convenient. With beautiful scenery, fresh air, and a great location, it's a great choice for a weekend getaway outside Beijing.
